As a Civil Marriage Celebrant appointed by the Australian Government's Attorney-General's Department I am authorised to solemnise marriages anywhere in Australia in accordance with the Marriage Act and the Code of Practice. It is my job as a Marriage Celebrant to ensure all legal requirements for marriage are met; to lodge all marriage documents; to inform couples about marriage education; to assist in the planning and design of wedding ceremonies; to officiate at the ceremony and to solemnise the marriage by identifying themselves; stating compulsory wording in Section 46 (1) of the Marriage Act and witnessing the couple's vows. As a Civil Marriage Celebrant I will accommodate your choice of location for the marriage ceremony thus giving you total control of this special occasion.
