A Guard of Honour from the Emu Point Bowlers was a fitting beginning for the service recently. Paul was a skilled sportsman and enjoyed many years at the Club.
The final song was a beautiful farewell to a man who loved hard work, sport, church, family and dancing with his beloved wife.

A very simple graveside ceremony with a little extra pizazz. No sombre music for Hugh, no - we all had a giggle when he entered to the tune of "Footloose".
Perfectly fitting for a man who was known for his great dance moves.

Bev Crosby's Funeral Service was livestreamed by Bethany Funeral Home. There is a recording on their website.
It's a hard watch for me, but it's nice to know that those who couldn't make it were able to be there virtually.

A special farewell for a beautiful soul yesterday at Bethany Chapel.
Bev will be remembered for her selfless nature, the way she was a 'mum' to anyone who needed one and her devotion to her family.

How privileged I've been to have spent some time chatting and planning with a beautiful person who has now left us.
My heart goes out to the family and together we will make sure that Bev has the send off that she wanted.
We will all be wearing bright colours and we will celebrate her life and all that she was to those who loved her.

What a special moment it was to hear my friend say, that she didn't care what happened, as long as I was able to conduct her husband's funeral.

He played Fur Elise on the piano for his Nanna, just as he had done as a child when learning the piano.
It was a beautiful start to the service for Phyllis.

Another grandson viewed the service through a phone link up as he was unable to be there in person.

It was a wonderful celebration of life at Amity Rose for the bright and bubbly lady and instilled so many important life lessons in her children and grandchildren.

June was a very special, caring lady and many, many friends and family members were there to see her off in style.
