Sundays are for Mingling 🥂🚌💙

Our lovely ladies today enjoyed some wonderful local experiences on our Northern Region Mingle Minis Tour.

We started with mimosas and shopping at House of Lavender before heading off to a special mystery top secret location for another spot of shopping.

Up next was to indulge in a delicious high tea at The Leap Tea Room and browse their many arts and crafts on offer.

Further north we visited the coolest cacti farm in Mackay, at Horns and Thorns for an opportunity to view their expansive range of plants, pots and garden decor.

Ending the day with cocktails and scrumptious share plates at Red Dog Riverfront as we enjoyed the afternoon sun peaking through the rain clouds.

Top day, with another fabulous bunch of local ladies 🙌💙🚌

Chasing the sun ☀️ to Airlie Beach on this fabulous private tour, celebrating a special ladies birthday with all of her beautiful gals 🥂💙

Starting off with coffee and cake at K&Co, before heading north to Colour Me Crazy for an iconic shopping moment. Next up was bottomless drinks and lunch at Whisper Restaurant & Gin Bar which is always a hit! 🥂🤤

We then trekked to the Garden Bar & Bistro Cannonvale for their delicious gin and espresso martini taster boards! Such a stunning spot, overlooking the fabulous Coral Sea Marina.

These gals were so much fun, we had so many laughs and singing along the way. Thanks ladies for spending the day with me! 🚌🙌

Celebrating the end of the financial year, Mackay City Property spent the day onboard our Art Trail & Foodies tour today, this time the adventure was to the Artists Connect Inc Mackay City and Sarina trail.

Our first stop was to meet the gorgeous Catherine Clark Dowden Artwork and enjoy coffee and cake at The Florist Fourways 🙌

Next up we headed south to the Sarina Field of Dreams to explore more local artists work at the Sarina Art Gallery, including Katherin Murray Art and a hands on experience with Briget Zimmerman

For our next foodies destination, no trip to Sarina would be complete without a delicious lunch at Roots.

Back to Mackay city, we finished our tour with cocktails and dessert at Fusion128 where we met Pamela Finger who has her wonderful art on display in the dining room.

This was such a fun group of ladies and gents, who were simply enjoying each others company, and the mystery adventure with a few sneaky bevy’s along the way! Thank you for supporting local and spending the day with us! 💙🚌🥂

Our Minglers had an artsy day out exploring some of the amazing local artists we have on our Art Trail & Foodies Tour yesterday.

In collaboration with the Artists Connect Inc we have designed a tour for each of their Art Trails throughout our region. This particular tour visited the North Mackay & Coast region.

After coffee and cake at K&Co we headed to our first location, Pioneer Potters Mackay Inc. where we had the opportunity to browse their many collections, as well as gain some hands on experience with a guided pottery workshop.

Next up we enjoyed a glass or two of bubbly and lunch as we basked on the beautiful patio at Retreat on Janz Studios. Here we were treated to a guided tour through their expansive property including amazing studios, workshops and their well appointed Air BnB home. We mingled with the talented artists, Glenda Hobdell, Perry Hobdell, Ashley Holmes and Catherine Hodby.

Ending our adventure with a truly unique experience we stopped in at Raven.art in Eimeo where we painted our very own take home pots, and then learn the process of Raku Firing our creations.

📣 We have tickets available for this Saturdays special tour trailing up the Pioneer Valley!

This tour takes you on an adventure through the idyllic countryside to the beautiful township of Finch Hatton to enjoy afternoon canapés and bubbles basking in the glorious afternoon winter sun at The Gift Shed Cafe & Health Food finch. 🍾

🚌 Mingle Minis Roadtrip to Airlie today with ✨perfect✨ weather, delicious food and even better company! 🥂

We started the day with coffees at K&Co before heading north to the stunning Whitsundays. No trip to Airlie would be complete without a quick stop at Colour Me Crazy to get that shopping fix!

Lunch was enjoyed at Whisper Restaurant & Gin Bar with their stunning views and scrumptious 5 course meal, complete with bottomless drinks 🙌

Our last destination for the day was to enjoy the Gin and Espresso Martini cocktail tasters from the best little port side bar in the Whitsundays, Garden Bar at Coral Sea Marina… with live music by Tiffany Grace Music, puppy visits, and lots of laughter 🥰

Our Airlie Beach Ladies Day is so much fun, can’t wait to go again soon! 🚌💙

❄️ Winter Wanderers 🥂🚌

Today we set off on a fabulous adventure to explore a selection of my favourite mystery destinations on our Northern Region Mingle Minis Tour.

We started the day with mimosas at GypsyandtheBowerbird where the ladies were spoilt to a little VIP gift voucher to spend in store, soooo many beautiful things to choose from!

Next stop was to the wonderful Northern Beaches, to Sandy Coast for another spot of shopping their amazing range of homewares, clothing, furniture and gifts. We love visiting the beautiful ladies at Sandy Coast.

By this point we had built up an appetite, so lunch was high on the agenda, with our friends at Mount Jukes Family Farm for wood fired authentic Italian pizza surrounded by mountains and roaming turkeys 😂

Horns and Thorns was the next mystery shopping location for the ladies to peruse their extensive range of succulents, cacti and pots… there is always something new and beautiful to choose from in their range of prickly goods.

Last stop for the day was to enjoy the tranquil vibes at Deep Gully Farm with goats cheese platters, gelato for dessert and a glass of bubbles whilst we lazed in the winter sun.

Perfect day exploring Mackay if you ask me! 👌🙌🥂

Our first Minglers to enjoy the Art Trail & Foodies Tour had an absolute hoot exploring the Artists Connect Inc Hibiscus Coast Art Trail, with delicious food, spectacular seaside and country views and quality company along the way!

We started the tour with coffee and individual brunch platters from The Deli Nook whilst we journeyed to our first Artist studio on the trail, Summerwinds Art Studio.

Visiting Susan Riley Gee at her Studio/Gallery you will see that her happy personality shows in her large acrylic and oil works, colourful, bold, energetic, and moving, using her pallet knife to her advantage.

Her water colours while not as large have soft skies, greys as the sun rises, beautiful blues as it fines up, to vibrant sunsets, water reflections, and angry storms. We were lucky enough to enjoy a tutorial on the fundamentals of watercolour and created our very own take home piece of art.

We then ventured further up the Hibiscus Coast to the wonderful Duende Whitsundays, located on a hillside in Midge Point overlooking the glorious Whitsundays, where we met Artists Agnes Durbet-Giono and her husband Bernard Avantin (Ape).

Inspired by love, Agnès creates images of her own reality that refer to a realm beyond the line between awareness and dream.

Ape, traveller at heart, having spent most of his life on the road, Apes art is a combination of tableaus, he builds with corroded
metal.

Ape and Agnes along with Alain Antonius hosted the most epic gourmet French cuisine canapé lunch whilst we kicked back and enjoyed the breathtaking views, and chatted all things art.

It was an absolute pleasure spending the day with some many talented, welcoming and amazing locals, looking forward to our next adventure… who’s coming?!

Today’s Mingle Minis Tour, was an adventure through our fabulous foodie “southern region” experience.

Starting the day off at House of Lavender with welcome bubbles as we browsed the beautiful things on offer at this fabulous local boutique, before heading south for a scenic lunch stop at Sarina Beach Motel for a delicious spread.

We then headed to the iconic Sarina Sugar Shed for a tasting session of their scrumptious sauces and award winning liqueurs, hosted by another fabulous “Bec”!

We ended sweet, as we do, with chocolate tasting and mimosas at our boys KOKO LOKO in Grasstree Beach.

The weather turned out fantastic, and chatting to these beautiful ladies as we cruised the gorgeous countryside was what great Sundays are made of!

We love supporting local small business and tourism operators, thanks to you all for making it a memorable day for us 🥰🥂🚌

Our first “couples” Mingle Minis Tour was an absolute ✨vibe✨ celebrating one of the gangs 25th wedding anniversay and a gorgeous gals 50th birthday. This group have been friends for decades and watching them interact and enjoy each others company today was so special.

Our first mystery location was to taste test the wide range of beers and ciders at Goanna Brewing new brewery bar, followed by a long table pizza lunch at the epic Mount Jukes Family Farm before a spot of cacti and succulent shopping at Horns and Thorns. We finished sweet at my happy place, Deep Gully Farm for goats cheese and gelato.

Thank you to all our fabulous mystery destinations and this gorgeous bunch of mates for such a stellar day exploring our wonderful region! 🥰🥂🚌

We had such a beautiful day today on the Northern Region Mingle Minis Tour, celebrating a gorgeous gals birthday, making new friendships and exploring our amazing local region!

We started the day with a visit to the newly expanded House of Lavender with a welcome mimosa as we perused their expansive range of goodies. Our next stop was through the idyllic Habana countryside to visit Bel Abode Lifestyle & Homewares where we had the opportunity to show some love to a newborn calf and another spot of shopping in paradise.

Our next mystery location was to enjoy a high tea experience at the The Leap Tea Room and of course another excuse to shop their abundance of local crafts and creations.

For the plant lovers amongst us, we indulged in a prickly perusal of the succulents, cacti and pots at Horns and Thorns before venturing to our final mystery location, Deep Gully Farm where we could have lazed around eating gelato, grazing on goats cheese and basking in the afternoon sun all day long.

This was such a special afternoon, and I’m so grateful for the gorgeous gals who continue to support my little business, with their words of encouragement and happiness to connect or disconnect for the day. You guys rock. Thank you 🙏

Had the absolute pleasure of delivering the VIP launch party for the Bee Mindful Mural, which thanked the generous sponsors, artists and hardworking volunteers who have made this iconic placemaking artwork a reality.

The team at MKY City Heart Collective are all volunteers with the common vision to beautify Mackay, and make our city centre a creative hub with placemaking initiatives. Love their work!

Thank you to Plattered Up for the phenomenal grazing charcuterie boards, you guys smashed it out of the park as per usual!

Anette Worthington for your beautiful music, you really set the tone to a relaxing and vibing afternoon session!

Fiesta Rentals for your fabulous customer service arranging the event furniture, we always love working with your team.

It was also wonderful to see our Mackay Regional Council representatives in attendance supporting the arts, and our local community; Mayor Greg Williamson, Councillor Ash-Lee Johnson, and Councillor Heath Paton.

If you’re looking for something to do, head down to check out this amazing mural, it’s located at Seventh Lane (right next door to Ray White on wood street). Sugar City Art Deco & Modernism Society are also running walking tours through the city centre and I know they are stopping in to view this masterpiece!

🎂A special birthday tour for a special Mingler, this one was a custom tour created by the birthday gal herself.

Our fabulous Mingler wanted to experience the iconic Sarina Sugar Shed Cocktails Masterclass, and we spiced it up with a pitstop to visit our boys KOKO LOKO for chocolate tasting, followed with pizzas by the beach at The Palms, Sarina Beach 🍹

Safe to say the ladies were choc-a-block (pardon the pun) with delicious food and cocktails, such a great way to celebrate your birthday, spending the afternoon with your favourite people aboard a Mingle custom tour!

So pumped to be working amongst other local business’ and Mackay Isaac Tourism to get ready for cruise ships coming to port in Mackay! This will be fantastic for our region, bringing massive economic growth and putting Mackay on the map 🗺️📍☀️

Mackay Isaac Tourism was pleased to host a workshop of tourism operators to explore the cruise ship opportunity 🛳️

Tourism Solutions hosted a discussion that highlighted how important collaboration amongst tourism operators will be, as well as creating a welcoming and authentic experience for cruise ship passengers.
