It's going to be an excellent Saturday, back by very popular demand, the brillant, professional & very entertaining five piece band RAZOR are back performing live on the big stage, in the Backyard Beer Garden @ McGuire's Hotel 17 Wood Street Mackay, plus we are open for delicious meals Monday to Saturday between 11.30am to 2.30pm + 5.30pm to 8.30pm, the hotel will also be open from 10am this Thursday Show Day but meals will only be served between 5.30pm & 8.30pm on Show Day.

McGuire's Hotel's Backyard Beer Garden in Mackay, since Covid the Hotel is doing better than ever, unfortunatley the Backyard Beer Garden has never recovered from the day that the Government implemented the rule if you are not vacanated you can not enter into a licenced premises, young ones like to be cramped in & if we do not have 600 + patrons in the Backyard it looks empty, these days their would not be 600 patrons in the whole city center on a Friday or Saturday night, causing the young ones to move on & settle into a much smaller venue that looks packed with 100 patrons. Hopefully the City Center will once again bounce back & all city center venues will cater for big numbers.
