It's been another big year for NS Gowns & Ceremonies!
Although I was on maternity leave for most of 2024, I was privileged to marry a few very special couples. Welcoming my second son has been my focus and greatest joy this year, and it has gifted me the time to reflect on where I want to take NS Gowns & Ceremonies.
Rested and ready to hit the ground running, I can't wait for an even bigger 2025!

**** UPDATE ****
It’s been quite some time. But despite the extended social media hiatus NS Gowns & Ceremonies has been busy! In truth, those who know me personally know that I’m terrible on social media, and the last thing I want to do when I’m busy is worry about likes, follows and posting. Perhaps not the best attitude for a small business owner, but there it is.
Even so, it’s time for an update, and I’m thrilled to share the photos that some of my ceremony couples and gown brides have shared with me throughout the year. Once again, a big congratulations to all the couples I’ve married this year and to the brides who have trusted me with their gowns!
In January it will be TWO YEARS since I launched NS Gowns & Ceremonies, and I am constantly blown away by how well it’s been received. This little side hustle has evolved to compete with my day job. What a problem to have! I can’t express how appreciative I am to have been trusted by so many ceremony couples and gown brides. Also, a shout out to the many more couples and brides that I’ve had to regrettably turn away. Thank you for taking the time to consider me as your celebrant or gown designer!
But now our family is anticipating the arrival of our second baby! And it's time for me to take a break and focus on family first. My books are now closed for 2024, and I won’t be actively monitoring my usual communication channels during my extended maternity leave. But not to worry, NS Gowns & Ceremonies will be back, and I will be using this time to reflect on everything that I’ve learned and continually improve the services my little side hustle offers!
