What a fabulous setting for a ‘micro’ wedding!
Late afternoon by the water in the most picturesque setting of David Cheong Reserve, Slade Point. It is always so quiet and private. The Norfolk Pine add something special, then there is a crazy cactus which is a fabulous feature for photography as well. Congratulations Anne and James! So Felix said to me that for 29 years Tirsa has said why don’t we get married, this year she didn’t say it. He had a think about it and thought “if Rupert Murdoch can marry for the 5th time at 96, I can marry first the first at 86.” All laughter aside, Felix just kept saying ‘I love that girl’. Hey, hey, hey it’s a beautiful Sunday! You are never too old to celebrate love. In the Autumn years of life and after 30 years of courtship Felix and Terry finally said I do! What a privilege to be asked to not only officiate this wedding but to join them in celebrating their love. The speeches were informal but straight from the heart. Let me tell you, I think they have some talented singers in their family that could try X factor or the Voice, the personal touches topped the night. The ceremony and celebration was at the Ocean International which was perfect and beautiful. Deanne Woods Photography joined us as the photographer. Congratulations Felix and Terry!

24/08/24 what a great date for a wedding! Starcut Flowers decorated the Mackay Golf Club Inc. beautiful for todays beautiful family who took their wedding vows today. Henry and Sebastian just looked so cute in their suits. I look forward to see the photos for Jennifer Treloar Photography. Yesterday I had twin girls and today twin boys and even the same age! Maybe they should meet 🤣. Congratulations Jaimee and Ben Ohl!

How beautiful was this setting at Ocean International this afternoon! The arbour and decorating by Absolute Weddings & Events was gorgeous with the autumn tone floral arrangements. Alex is a dog shower so who else would they choose as their photographer other than Fiona Coffee and Hops - I am so looking forward to see the "Release the hound" photos when the dog delivered the rings and then ventured around guests laps for a cuddle! 🤣Congratulations Alex and Adam on your marriage.

August is a beautiful month in the Mackay/Whitsunday region for a wedding. After 6 weeks relaxing I’m back for two beautiful families this weekend who are committing their love forever.
Ocean International and Mackay Golf Club are their chosen locations. These venues are a great choice. Hannah Ocean International, and Cathy Mackay Golf Club Inc. go out of their way to assist their couples planning their day.

Coffee and Hops thank you for the privilege of viewing the gallery of Melissa and Daniel Christopher! It was such a privilege to marry this couple, his Aunty Michele is a lifelong friend and my fabulous The Hair Cottage hairdresser (my old salon). Wedding Excellence, By Tez WOW how stunning you ladies had the Shamrock Hotel Mackay for this ceremony. I hear the reception was just as perfect. Congratulations Mel and Daniel!
