We are looking to expand our team before an extremely busy few months ahead.
We are a mobile catering business.
We are looking for casual function managers and assistants that are available to work mainly on the weekends however if you are also able to do weekdays that works great too.
Experience is preferred, but not necessary. We will train you through every step.
Must hold a driver’s licence and a confident driver.
Every shift is somewhere new, you can meet some great people along the way.
You will learn how to cook like a golden roast professional, as that after all is the end goal.

So, what will your role include?
Driving to and from our base, unloading and packing the van, cleaning up the prep site.
Preparation of food, including chopping up salads, cooking vegetables, and roasting and carving meats.
Setting up our buffet and watching over the buffet as guests move through and serve themselves food.
Depending on the amount of assistants required at the function, you may be needed to collect plates, knives and forks, and rinse them.

Pay from $220 per full function.

Before applying to this job please ensure the following:
- You are able/comfortable with loading items in and out of company vans
- Lifting heavy equipment
- Walking and standing for long periods of time
- Comfortable with doing travel jobs up to 4 hours away from Mackay (good travel money on these jobs)
- Confidence in carving meat
- You can always be on time and are motivated to do a great job
- You can pay close attention to all the small details/really do the little things perfectly, as these things are what we are all about... elevating the overall customer experience with golden roast
- You can work well in a team environment
- You are comfortable with customer service skills
- Can think well on your feet and have the ability to perform in stressful situations
- Driver’s licence
- Take pride in your work and appearance
- Available most weekends
