The Maldon In Winter Fesitval 2024

Do you or someone you know run a business, community group, club, or provide a service and would like to be a part of the Maldon in Winter Festival?
The Festival is gearing up for an unforgettable ‘Let there be Light” themed 2024 season starting Friday 21 June with the winter solstice and finishing the end of the school holidays on Sunday 14 July. You’re invited to join the Festival by submitting an event via Expression of Interest.
As we all embrace the winter solstice and welcome in ’new beginnings’, we're crafting a fresh method to the Festival. You take the lead on the event, and we'll handle the promotion.
We're seeking ideas that ignite the spirit of community. From after-hours wine tastings, sip and sew, art workshops, creative craft activities, invigorating walking groups to captivating movie nights, your creativity knows no bounds!
We're all about spreading the word far and wide, creating a buzz that draws visitors from far and near. This isn't just about a festival - it's about creating excitement, community connection, and celebrating everything that makes Maldon extraordinary.
Closing date for EOIs is 30 April, 2024

CALLING ALL POTENTIAL STALLHOLDERS!

Like to run a stall at our Dark Market this year? To be held at the incredible Maldon Vintage Machinery Museum, the Goldfields Gothic: Festival of Dark Ideas “DARK MARKET” will host stallholders selling their wares and what’s-its linked to the general theme of our festival: the dark history of the Victorian Goldfields and the dark side of life for the people who lived (and live) here. The date will be Saturday 5 August.

2 - Suitable groups up to 8
Help bring in 2 of our Clydesdales, brush, harness them up and then board our custom built tram that sits up to 8 and go for a ride into our historic town in our dining cart tram!

For the morning session enjoy a beautiful mixed breakfast of waffles, pancakes, fruits, danishes and more

In the afternoon enjoy a variety of cheeses, meats, fruits, sandwiches etc all provided by the wonderful team at Maldon Grazing

Bring a bottle of wine and make it a celebration!

Finally take a walk with us around our property and meet our 20+ Clydesdales and farm animals including our foals, mares, stallions miniature goats, calves and more
