Humpy won the painting my son would be so pleased Humpy was one of his favourite human beings. A concreter that took him to work and told him to get his hand out of his pockets. And Humpy loved him.

We are running a raffle at our open mic it's an original oil of the Mannum falls $2 per ticket or 3 for $5. All money raised will be donated to Scruffer lovers organisation dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs. My son's choice of charity. Artist Judi Law.

I'm sorry if I didn't get a photo of everyone, it was a great day. Final tally of money raised by Humpys shave off not quite counted as businesses have still got some funds yet to be collected but at this stage it's in excess of $3000. Greg Coombs won the cupcakes, I won the basket from Hospital Auxiliary shop. Julie won the basket from the cheese shop. And our very own Heather Russell won the wheel barrow of goodies.

Jamie and I are so sorry to say we are cancelling our beloved Open Mic this Sunday at The Mannum Hotel, once again after the pandemic, due to the flooding of the Murray River. We saw the street today and after seeing the devastation we have decided that it is best to cancel. The peak is expected soon and we would not want our friends and musical family to be at risk. The parking may not be available also or the street may be closed to pedestrians, hopefully when the water settles we will see you in February.

As people may know, the Mannum Hotel was shut down due to the flooding of the River Murray, so just letting you all know we are expecting the power to be restored in the next 48 hours, our Open Mic will still be running this Sunday at 2pm if you are wanting to still come along. Thank you to everyone who made the hotel mannum open mic a wonderful day again. I didn't get photos of everyone who performed or who was there but I know all enjoyed the day. And it was Coralies birthday.

Hi my name is Terry Carlisle and on Sunday the 11th July, we had a charity run organised by Pixi from Brothers Ink to raise money for my sister Peggy O'Hara to help complete some items on her bucket list. Peggy was diagnosed with bowel cancer and was advised on June 22nd she only had a few months to live. Hotel Mannum put on a free sausage sizzle for the bikers and we also held a raffle. We were about to leave, when my sister said she wanted to thank the hotel, so as sis does she just went up on the stage with Teresa and Jamie who had no idea what was going on....well the rest is history as sis was invited to sing with them and we all had such an amazing time. Peggy was in her element and it was up there with the best times of her life.... sadly my beautiful sis lost her battle with cancer on the 31st August at our home. We took her in and cared for her the last few months of her life, as she was on her own. Her husband had died 3 years previously...
I wanted to thank the Mannum Hotel for their generosity and also Teresa and Jamie for their kindness shown to my sis. I have a couple of videos of the night with my sis singing with Teresa and Jamie, and it's priceless to me....
I would like to post it on this page hoping this is acceptable..... thank you all again......👍❤

Unfortunately our open Mic scheduled for August will need to be cancelled due to Covid restrictions. Hopefully we will be able to get back again soon. We will keep you posted. Thanks again to all that supported last month. It truly was a magical day and showed how important music and sharing is. Teresa and Jamie.

I didn't manage to get photos of everything on the day but it turned out great. So glad and appreciate all the musicians and supporters who love what we do. In a time that is so unpredictable, we at the open Mic are hoping we can make our way back to something predictable, like the 2nd Sunday of the month.
