🏌️‍♀️⛳Winter School Holidays Junior Clinic 🏌️‍♀️⛳

The greatest THANK YOU to all our fantastic kids whom participated in our Kids Clinic Winter School Holiday Program last week.

Last week our Golfing Extraordinaire Chris taught our little legends some valuable golfing skills and techniques to achieve some fantastic future potential. My, Oh My did we have a fantastic bunch of talented Mansfield kids to teach! Definitely some incredibly talented, skilled and future Golfing Legends in the making.
The weather was a little grey and miserable however the kids faces tells another story.

We are in the process of planning some very exciting opportunites for our Junior Golfers - certainly watch this space!

MARK ADAMS Ski & Golf Day ❄️⛷️⛳🏌️‍♀️
FRIDAY 5TH JULY 2024
Helping local Mansfield School Kids for 25+ years!

The annual Adams Ski & Golf Day is held on Friday 5th July at Mt Buller and the Mansfield Golf Course with the Calcutta Dinner on the 4th July.
The fundraising event first commenced in 1999 to raise money towards Mansfield schools snowsports programs and has now raised in excess of $400,000 which is an outstanding achievement by all involved.

Money raised will be distributed between Mansfield Primary, Mansfield Secondary, St Mary’s Primary, Merrijig Primary, Jamieson Primary, Steiner School and Mt Buller Sports and Recreation Association to support local kids learning snowsports at Mt Buller enabling many children to participate in snow sports for the very first time

After the round finishes, presentations include a fantastic array of prizes supported by local businesses.

We are truly proud to be apart of such a tremendous event and fantastic cause to support our local kids.

A friendly and kind reminder to all our lovely guests, being the 1st Monday of this month we would normally host Bingo tonight.

Please be advised that as of June 24th we have cancelled Bingo indefinitely due to the change in circumstances and rules surround Bingo for a Club that does not host Bingo on a frequent basis.

We sincerely apologise as we know this was a thorough enjoyment for you all and for us as a Club. Hopefully one day in the future it may return, until then, we do apologise for the inconvenience.

⛳️🎙️ Golfing Announcement Update from our Club Captain - Rod Sargent ⛳🎙️

Hello Valued Members,

As many of you would have noticed works are underway to correct the fairway bunkers on the 18th fairway. The goal is to fill in half of the first bunker and make it a small pot bunker. The second bunker will be filled in over half way and extended about two meters back into the fairway with a similar shape. The left-hand side will be banked so balls should roll back into that bunker. There will be two large branches taken off one tree on the top side of the bunker also. This will give golfers a clear view and a clear shot at the green from that bunker and the little one also.

The Ladies Monthly Medal sponsored by Loyola Jewels is on Wednesday 26th June.
This Saturday 29th is the June Mens Monthly Medal sponsored by the Golf Club.

Friday 5th July is the Mark Adams ski golf day [Course CLOSED]
Saturday 6th July is the NEDGA v DALHOUSIE Country Week Tryouts. Normal comp times for members are the same.
Saturday 13th July will be changed to a 4 club challenge Stableford for Men and Ladies with a shotgun start at 12 noon. It would be nice to see some Men and Ladies playing together.
Saturday 27th July is Monthly Medal for Men and Ladies.

This years SCRAMBLE will be on Wednesday 18th September for Ladies and Thursday the 19th of September for the Men/Mixed. Start getting your teams together.
AFL Grand Final day long weekend is set to be a big weekend of golf and footy, stay tuned for updates.
