Celebrating a life that was.... A memorial is about celebrating all the life that our loved ones lived.
As a celebrant, I can guide you through a lovely celebration of their life, helping you to celebrate as a family.
Memorials can be held in a funeral house, or it can be anywhere, where people gather to share the memories.
Our loved ones had a life. Before we came into their life, they were young, they dated, they had friends, they partied, they maybe lived through a war, they had dreams, they had a past....
It is widely reputed, that unless we are famous, we still only be remembered for two generations... Celebrate life now!

Below is a photo of my mother in law, aged 89, 6 years before her passing. She lived a life, quite different from us. Born in Bulgaria, surviving snake bite, double pneumonia (pre anti-biotics), near drowning (one of her friends did drown), these all before the age of 18, moving to Germany just prior to World War 2, immigrating to Australia, raising 5 children, grandmother to 11...
All these lives, children, in-laws, grandchildren, have been affected by her life, have grown because of her and been molded to become the people they are today.
A memorial celebrates the life and pays tribute to it, celebrates the experiences, reminds you of the one precious memory that will carry you through the years, passes down stories to younger generations and celebrates the life that was!
