It's been a hot minute, so I decided it's time for some re-intro posts.
This handsome fella is Iain, the ideas man and uber behind Pop-Up Gardens. He has a background in landscaping and horticulture, as well as hospitality.
And never will you ever meet a kinder or more hard-working human. If you work with us, then you will undoubtedly have met Iain - he attends pretty much all our events! He loves to get out and meet clients and oversee onsite styling.
In his spare time (haha what's that?!) he likes to spend time playing silly games with his daughter, and listening to podcasts whilst weeding his own garden (yes, he actually enjoys weeding 🤔). He also has an encyclopaedic knowledge of music lyrics, so next time you see him, test him out! 😉

This week we had the absolute pleasure of creating a large activation at for the premier of the new season of for .
The brief was to create a wild woodland-themed space for guests, with an entry-feature in the foyer, and continuing up the grand IMAX staircase towards the movie theatre. We had lots of fun sourcing plants with woodlandy Middle-Earth vibes. What an great project!
Big shout out to the lovely team at for giving us complete creative freedom to bring this vision to life 🌿🌿

Our Story

Pop-Up Gardens is run by husband and wife team Iain and Emilie Porterfield. They started the business in 2016 to bring together their mutual love of creative and innovative styling & design, as well as their passion for all things green.

Initially a simple plant hire service, Pop-Up Gardens has rapidly grown to include full service event styling and hire, including not only plants and greenery, but also media walls, hanging installations, furniture hire, arches, florals, signs, drinks stations, lolly bars, and much more.
