A big congrats to the small but mighty Clermont Gold Cup team who put on a huge event. It was our second year back and we had the kids at this one and they did so well! It’s a big congrats to the Horse of the North Challenge held last weekend! It was a great event to be apart of! Thanks for having us back again and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Teeny also did super well with a 5th in the Rookie and 2nd in the beginners challenge comp. There were literally the best in Australia there and the competition was fierce! Well it was one of our biggest weeks of music and announcing at the mighty Greenvale Campdraft. We started Monday at lunch and finished up 4pm Sunday arvo. The kids and Teeny doing well with the ribbons! Thanks so much for having us back and hands down one of the best organised event in the North. We thank our great sponsors Woodham Petroleum Services and Sheps Outfitters for getting us down the road and clothed in the best gear! Pictured is the 4th place in the challenge and kids placing also a beautiful gift from the committee.

This weekend we head south to Powlathanga Campdraft for our first time!

Well we finished off the year with our last event with the Tully Bull & Bike. My first year there but how fun was it watching 3 of my favourite things in the world. Bulls, bikes and horses. It was a great event and we all enjoyed it.

What a year it has been. We’ve traveled as far South as Clermont and North to Weipa. West to near Hughenden and East to Tully.

We have had a full calendar with our announcing and music production. It’s been thousands of kilometres, lots of red frogs for the late nights but it’s been memories we will never forget.

Congratulations to all the committees and volunteers on your respective events. Thank you for having us as part of your day/s! A big thank you to everyone who was able to jump on the 🎤 when we were either competing, looking after the kids on their horses or simply to give us a break! You are lifesavers!

Finally, here’s to better sounding 2024!!

As we get to the tail end of the season it was good to go back & get some pics of the events and Campdrafts we’ve been lucky to work at. We started in May with Greenvale and our last working event will be Malanda in October. We haven’t been home much but it’s been great being on the road doing what we love. A couple pics of our usual view each weekend, Teeny’s office and our kids bringing home the goods at the Laura rodeo. We’ve snuck some places in there as well.

Sadly the Chillagoe Rodeo didn’t run this year but the committee got together and decided to have a fundraiser Horsesports and Auction! Proudly donated our time and equipment to help get the show back on the road! It was a great day and night!

Well it’s been a long time since we’ve been on the page but finally a day off to catch up! Well what whirlwind of 2021 we have had! We started the year with Campdraft for a Cause in Hughenden which has led to 10 events so far this year an we only started in April! Well done to all of the committees who have gone above and beyond to meet the Qhealth requirements and get our sports back up and running! We have another 10 events left this year and we hope to see you at some of them!
