This is my new music page, where I will release new tracks, upcoming gigs and videos of me playing.

Hugh Gibson, 26 years old, is a friendly and generous guy who wants his listeners to dance and have fun. His sets take you on a sound journey without predictable 'build and drop' - his 'wavy blue jungle' sounds move in a smooth underwater realm to keep people moving and grooving and feeling into the percussion driven beats.

Hugh responds to his listeners and the music becomes a conversation - a constantly changing trip with a driving percussion rhythm.

Hugh is a talented percussionist; his Hang drum, Congas, Djembe and Bongo drums feature throughout his progressions, along with his keyboard and reggae/ funk samples.His influences include : Bonobo, Maribou State, Nicholas Jarr, Darkside, Quantic and St Germain.

Soft, silky, ethereal chords combining world music and home grown Margaret River vibes.
