2024 marked 10 years for me being solely in the events sector and year 6 of TWC.

I think reaching these milestones definitely added to a lot of personal and business evaluations- what is the future looking like?
Our son starts kindy next year and sobering our family schooling life so with that comes a need to want to feel more present at home and on some weekends- this played a big decision in the changes of my services for 25/26 season to all full packages.

Full service packages allow more time in the organisation and generally more value from clients as they are with you from the start and understand the workload that goes into organising a wedding.
-we worked really hard in the off -season streamlining processes and bringing in a new client portal system to ensure a better experience and productivity for our couples.
-Contractor agreements were implemented for future staff to ensure protection of our company’s IP. - Season performances were reviewed both with us and with other suppliers used- some old relationships were ceased and new ones formed.

Our aim is always to be forever evolving to ensure we can continue to offer services that meet and exceed our couples expectations.

Minimal with a touch of Party was the vibe for this wedding.

Originally we had started off with a whole different styling direction & colour scheme but in the final few months changed to a more modern style with white,red,purple as primary colours and buttermilk and silver for accents.

This switch really elevated the final look and complimented the wooden tones from the venue.

Choosing your wedding accommodation is a key factor in setting the style for your preparation look.
It’s best to view both the interior and exterior imagery when searching for your accommodation, to get a feel for how your photos may look.

Viewing rooms with high ceilings, large windows, soft furnishings and accent furniture can really contribute to adding to that Editorial or Photojournalistic style of shooting.

Beauty stylists, photographers and videographers are going to love a well decorated room with lots of natural light.

From a logistics side: location is key
• Reasonable close proximity to your ceremony location or wedding venue is always a high advantage, incase you happen to run late on the day.
• Access roads- if using vintage bridal cars, they may require certain styles of access roads for the cars to be able to travel down.
• Destination weddings -Phone Signal can be a real issue especially with some down south locations- in the lead up to your wedding and on the day it’s vital you are able to be contacted, for many various reasons.

Sometimes you meet people and you just Click-
You’re comfortable with them, like you’ve known them your whole life and you don’t have to pretend to be anyone or anything.

Ben, Ellie and I met by chance when I stepped in to help out with their wedding hire meeting.
I am a big believer in things happening for a reason and was so happy when they reached out to me to ask if I could help them with the remainder of their wedding planning.

The planning journey did have a few ups and downs from external factors but all 3 of us on their wedding day looked around at their new wedding venue and realised that all the craziness in the lead up was somehow worth it with the end result we finished up with and all agreed it was actually the perfect day.

Sun shining, cocktails flowing, tummies full of delicious food and many good times were had.
Special thanks to all the vendors involved who contributed to a seamless event day!

Watching the two of you have the best time on your wedding day was every bit the reminder of why I do this job; To help couples create and experience life long memories.. although this job carries high stresses,super long hours and sometimes minor skills of a therapist, I feel pretty special my knowledge and experience can make people happy which is my number #1 objective.

So really in the current climate planning your wedding really is the ultimate relationship test to see how you and your future Mr/Mrs, Mrs/ Mrs, MR/MR, They/ Them handle the extreme pressure, that is planning one of the best days of your lives.

It is one interesting journey and in the end usually a greater bonding experience and appreciation for one another.
