Minimal with a touch of Party was the vibe for this wedding.
Originally we had started off with a whole different styling direction & colour scheme but in the final few months changed to a more modern style with white,red,purple as primary colours and buttermilk and silver for accents.
This switch really elevated the final look and complimented the wooden tones from the venue.

Choosing your wedding accommodation is a key factor in setting the style for your preparation look.
It’s best to view both the interior and exterior imagery when searching for your accommodation, to get a feel for how your photos may look.
Viewing rooms with high ceilings, large windows, soft furnishings and accent furniture can really contribute to adding to that Editorial or Photojournalistic style of shooting.
Beauty stylists, photographers and videographers are going to love a well decorated room with lots of natural light.
From a logistics side: location is key
• Reasonable close proximity to your ceremony location or wedding venue is always a high advantage, incase you happen to run late on the day.
• Access roads- if using vintage bridal cars, they may require certain styles of access roads for the cars to be able to travel down.
• Destination weddings -Phone Signal can be a real issue especially with some down south locations- in the lead up to your wedding and on the day it’s vital you are able to be contacted, for many various reasons.

Clare you absolutely smashed all design goals with Ellie & Ben’s ceremony and everyone was in Awe of your stunning masterpiece.
Sometimes you meet people and you just Click-
You’re comfortable with them, like you’ve known them your whole life and you don’t have to pretend to be anyone or anything.
Ben, Ellie and I met by chance when I stepped in to help out with their wedding hire meeting.
I am a big believer in things happening for a reason and was so happy when they reached out to me to ask if I could help them with the remainder of their wedding planning.
The planning journey did have a few ups and downs from external factors but all 3 of us on their wedding day looked around at their new wedding venue and realised that all the craziness in the lead up was somehow worth it with the end result we finished up with and all agreed it was actually the perfect day.
Sun shining, cocktails flowing, tummies full of delicious food and many good times were had.
Special thanks to all the vendors involved who contributed to a seamless event day!

Crisp white and vibrant deep sunset hues was the vibe for Helen and Adrian’s sit down reception .
We created a crisp white backdrop in the design to make the bridal table a focal point and with magical touches the whole room was brought to life with gorgeous colour pops!
Lavender napkins from and white silver cutlery + white furnitre from to complete the look.
We were so thrilled with the end result which modernised the space.

Understanding your Florists…
Florists in my opinion undoubtedly have the hardest role as a vendor for your wedding.
So much of their day is based around what circumstances they get with their floral orders.
The wholesalers are an ever revolving door with stock quantities and so much affects what they get in weekly. Factors such as Climate and Economical changes, can greatly have an impact on floral orders.
There was a strike in Ecuador a few years back which made the importation of their roses (from the farms) difficult thus affecting our industry with stock shortages.
Soo when working with your florists, be accommodating & understandable.
Most will work on;Colour as certain species can’t be guaranteed, so a substitute will be provide based on the COLOUR.
> Prep -florists have to do A LOT of flower prep in order to get your order ready for assembly on the day- this can take anywhere from 1-3+ days.
> Reflexing of roses - A technique to create a gorgeous, voluminous rose. This involves turning petals of a delicate rose inside out to create a totally different shape.This technique is also applied to tulips and other blooms to transform their shape.
>On Day Weather Factors.
Weather elements such as Wind and Heat have a huge impact on your florals and how they last throughout the day.
> Labour - A lot of team members are required to get your floral blooms prepped as mentioned above and then arranged on your Wedding Day.
So hopefully now when you are assessing those floral quotes, you may be able to understand what has been factored in besides just the supply of physical flowers. ✌🏻🥀
