Had an incredible time at the Swings and Roundabouts Wedding Open Day 2024! I stood in a beautiful venue, alongside other incredible vendors, and got to meet some very excited couples that were searching for the right people to bring their dream wedding to life.


It cemented in me that the number one thing when looking for a vendor is the vibe. Find someone that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed, so that you can be in the moment every step of the way. Your celebrant is the one who brings your Great Love Story to life, and creates the ceremony that celebrates you! So find someone that you really vibe with, and it’ll feel all the more personal on the day.

Hey future brides, grooms, and lovers for life. My name is Scott Mac, and I'd love to be your celebrant.

Why pick me? I'm all about keeping things simple and straightforward, so that you can be in the moment and enjoy every step towards your big day. It's a celebration of love, right?! My ceremonies are relaxed and laid back, sprinkled with funny, endearing, happy, and tearjerking moments throughout. Whether it’s from laughing or love, there won’t be a dry eye in the house when I’m done.

Feel weird about having a stranger reading out your Great Love Story? We'll get to know each other over a wine or coffee (my treat 😉) and build a personal connection, so that I can create a ceremony that truly reflects you and your love story.

I've travelled WA from the South West to Perth, Kalgoorlie, and everywhere in between, with future ceremonies booked in Broome, and even in London! And Uncle Giles of course! Mark and Hayley wanted a wedding which reflected their deep love for and connection with their family. Hayley’s mum made her dress, Mark’s mum made the cake, and Uncle Giles excelled in his role as Celebrant for the day! Having known Mark for all his life and his whole relationship with Hayley, Uncle Giles wrote a ceremony that was full of love, memory, laughter, and emotion. I was there in my supporting role to usher the guests to their seats, point them toward the champagne fountain, and of course, make things legal! ⁣

Being a celebrant is so much more to me than just saying some pretty words in front of a crowd. I’ll be there early to make sure everything is set up just right, exactly how you described it to me. I’ll stand at the side at the right times so your special-moment-photos are just of you two, I’ll hand out sparkling to your guests to make sure everyone is on cue for the toast, and I’ll even fix your dress so it’s flowing across the ground in just the right way.
