Posted • Every year, Grace and her family gathered at Broadstairs in England, a place that holds countless memories on the East Kent coast. It’s a cherished tradition that began with Grace’s mum and has now blossomed into a third-generation family affair, with Louisa Bay being the heart of it all—a bay so special that Grace even carries its name.
Last year, James joined Grace’s family for the first time during their seaside holiday. On a beautiful English morning, as they strolled along the coast, with the cliffs towering above and the gentle waves below, they reached Louisa Bay. There, James asked a passer-by to capture a moment—and in that perfect moment, he asked Grace to spend forever with him.

After their elopement adventure, these two enjoyed a cosy dinner and unwound with a spa day the following day—just the perfect way to savour the start of their forever.

WHERE WILL I STAND FOR YOUR ELOPEMENT CEREMONY? Honestly it depends on the spot we choose, and how you feel…usually I go in the middle for most of it (always moving out for the kiss and personal vows) sometimes I like to be off to the side so your photos are perfectly framed by a specific thing like just the two of you and a stunning tree you like (in this case think of me as the forests narrator speaking the words of your love story while you focus in on your partner) sometimes I’ll move around if we have different elements to add in like handfasting/cacao/shots etc and also to add different aspects to your ceremony photos (great thing about working with the team at Wild is we move seamlessly around each other now without needing to speak so Victoria gets the most perfect images)

PERSONAL VOW NERVES…I work with so many nervous/shy/don’t want to be centre of attention couples (it’s a natural trait of many elopers I find) but just know that in that moment all that matters is the two of you, I will hold space and move away if you wish so the only person that hears your personal vows is your partner! Then I’ll swoop back in when needed for legals etc … these moments are yours to treasure and if you wish only yours … even we never need to know!

If you’re eloping with me or having the big shebang please try and do the things that make you smile and not all the things to try and please everyone else because “you’re supposed to do that at a wedding” The absolute best bits are the raw, real, sometimes funny, sometimes poignant, sometimes light, sometimes deep things that are really and truly you two!!! Let’s cut the bu****it and craft a ceremony you really freaking love!!!
