Maryborough Excelsior is looking for volunteers to assist us with our events in Maryborough. We require assistance in our food van with food preparation, BBQ cooking, serving customers and deep fryer cooking.
We have monthly events on the last Sunday of the month (Feb to Nov) and extra events on the calendar including the long weekend in May.

These fund-raising events are our only form of income and any assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated. You would only be required for a few hours a month or if enough people we could create a roster system and you wouldn't be required as much.

Today in Queen's Park: Sunday in the Park + Band Hall Handcraft Markets. Maryborough Excelsior City Band will perform from 10am in the Band Rotunda plus MELSA & Mary Ann Train Rides. Also at 12.15pm the Fraser Coast Highlander Pipe Band will perform. Hot Food & Cold Drinks available from our Food Van. Market stalls showcasing local products & services, handmade items and special Christmas gifts, as part of our monthly Band Hall Handcraft Markets. Come on down and support local! Markets on from 9am to 12.30pm.

Maryborough Excelsior is looking for volunteers to assist us with our events in Maryborough. We require assistance in our food van with food preparation, BBQ cooking, serving customers and deep fryer cooking.

Maryborough Excelsior City Band travelled to Gympie on Saturday to perform a concert as part of the Spring Picnic Community Recovery event organised by Gympie Regional Council. We were proud to be invited and perform as part of this wonderful event.

Very sad news to hear the passing of Keith Bertram, a past member of our band. Keith was 98 and was a beloved member back in the 60's.
A memorial service will be held at 10am, Sunday 21st July at 10 Boronia Drive, Tinnanbar if any past and present members are able to attend. Please RSVP to Kris Hawkins on 0409 728 200.
The Maryborough Excelsior City Band committee and members extend our sincere condolences to family and friends at this sad time.
