Benny ‘the back rower’ - Pro Wrestler is a wrestler based within the Suplex - Professional Wrestling federation. Nightfall has been lucky enough to have played host to Benny on a range of occaisions.

At a show in NSW last month, Benny sustained a career-ending injury when he suffered a fracture of his C5 vertebrae during a match.

After being flown to Newcastle, he underwent neck-fusion surgery and is currently on the long and painful road to recovery.

Once again we remind our fans and patrons that while our wrestlers might make what we do look easy, please remember that there is a lot of risk involved. We implore you not to try what you see at home or without the proper training.

Nightfall is honoured to announce that $5 from every ticket sold for Reality Check will go to Benny to help cover the costs of his medical treatment and resulting hospital stay.

Once again we wish to thank everyone who came and watched the show, those who reached out to pass on well-wishes and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) for their prompt response.

It just goes to show that even for trained professionals, sometimes accidents can happen. Please do not try this at home.

The hits keep coming with each announcement bolder and better than before.

Tonight we are pleased to announce a Fatal 4-way between some of Brisbane's most prominent personalities.

Renegade is arguably one of Brisbane's most well-known wrestlers, and we all know there is no-one like him. With a career that others would be envious of, he has seen both the ups and the downs of the wrestling world and come out even stronger for it.

Jaxon Cross is a new face within the Nightfall locker room, and he has seen more than his fair share of controversy inside the ring. Hailing from the land of the Long White Cloud, we look forward to seeing what amazing talents Cross has to share with us all.

JL Gold is finally returning! A former Heavyweight Champion turned TV commercial superstar, Gold is back to start his quest for that Nightfall win once more. With a face worthy of your tv screens, can the former golden child return to his position at the top of the ladder?

YEET Stevens is a newly-crowned UPW Tag Team Champion who wants to keep that winning momentum going with a victory of his own, so he's throwing his preverbial hat in the ring at Nightfall. Can this Rhodes Wrestling Academy graduate harness his skills and knowledge to knock down his opponents and propel himself to the top?

Nightfall rises once again on July 8th with Resurrrection, where the Nightfall Tag Team Championships are on the line.

We kick off our announcements with everybody's favourite Tag Team Champions, Standardized Paradox.

This 3 man crew are frequently seen tormenting ghosts on their Twitch channel, or posting various video content on their individual TikTok accounts.
Whilst only 2 of the members so far have managed to obtain "the Shiny", this time they're teaming up as the full trio against another grouping of colourful characters.

Coming from the 4 corners of the earth, surf, turf and swamp, are our challengers. Commonly known as the Animal Kingdom, this quartet will be competing as a trio in an attempt to dethrone the crowd favourites.

Will Standardized Paradox continue their Championship reign?
Or will the Animal Kingdom devour them and claim the titles for themselves?

Tonight's announcement is so massive it's amazing that we can cram them all onto the one poster.

This upcoming 8-man Tag Match sees 2 tag teams working together as a unit of 4 against another grouping of 4.
The winning unit will then face each other as their true teams at our next Nightfall show to decide the Number One Contenders for the Nightfall Tag Team Championships.

Combat Wombat and Dolph Finn reappear as Surf 'n' Turf to make an exclusive appearance at the Narangba Community Centre, bringing their quirky sense of justice with them. HOO-AH!

Kobra will be teaming up with fellow reptilian Gator to flex their immeasurable strength and show us that even cold-blooded animals can stir up a bit of heat.

Zoltan and Tiamat return to remind the Nightfall crowd that being great just comes naturally to them, and we're not worthy.

Who is the mysterious 4th tag team?

Having successfully defended his Nightfall Pacific Championship against former WWE star, PJ Black, in the last show of 2022, B-Lars is looking to start the year strong. His past may have come back to haunt him, however, as he faces his first opponent of 2023.

Back before Nightfall settled upon the earth and B-Lars was tagging with former partner, Bruiser, he was partnered with another charismatic individual. Things ended on a sour note for the duo, who have not been seen near each other until last year's Reality Check II.

Josh Redfield has made some powerful friends along the way, one of whom has made no secret of the fact that he is infatuated with "the pretty, white belt".

Inmate 211 is the leader of Standardized Paradox, also consisting of the aforementioned Redfield and "Big Shep" Jackson Shepard. What started as a group of Twitch streamers, they have broken the 4th wall and escaped into the real world. Popping up across the wrestling scene either as the whole trio, a tag duo or a solo act, you're never quite sure what you're going to get.

Having made enough noise on Twitch about his desire to face his teammate's former partner and gain a chance at the Pacific Championship, Nightfall Management has finally heard his plea and granted his wish.

Will B-Lars be able to hold off the Inmate?
Or will 211 dish out some justice on behalf of his friend?

We closed out 2022 with a standout show at Black Friday, but now it's time to start the wheels in motion for the year that is 2023.

Putting aside Yesterday's Feelings, without the Sound Effects and Over Dramatics:
Last year the locker room faced many ups and downs; there were many Cut Up Angels who just Let It Bleed, keeping the tone of the show Light With a Sharpened Edge.
The Lunacy Fringe spoke and we were Listening.

It's Hard to Say I'm a Fake, but I Caught Fire when management discussed the upcoming show.

Facing our cocky Heavyweight Champion is a man who would rather show the world his talents instead of just talking about them. “The Hotshot” Karl Parker has wrestled his way around the world, seeing where his skills take him.
