As much as we love animals and nature in our garden, the birds singing of a morning…. There is sometimes a downside, here is an example of where parrots, particularly are eating the buds and stems of the roses to get the juice and ruining the new bud, so we’ve added in a few shiny object to act as a deterrent, the parrots don’t like shiny objects so steer clear 🙌🏻

✨ More garden rambles with Marian… continuing to look at how our garden can provide for nature…. The Banksia Tree grows really well in this area due to the sandy soil and provides seed source for the yellow-tailed black cockatoo, a large beautiful native bird that is long lived and specific about their food source, they love the Banksia tree seeds but will also enjoy pine nuts from a pine tree 🤩
