Every birthday I create for my boys teaches me something new.

This year’s lesson: fruit trees take longer! 🍋
I ran out of time before I could add the lemons.

You’d think by now I’d have this whole birthday setup thing under control… but doing it while being the decorator, the cook, the host and having a baby in the mix apparently makes timing everything a little trickier than expected. 😅

One thing I did absolutely love making were the little canvases. I always enjoy adding personalised touches, and the kids had so much fun painting them.

The main entertainment though was definitely the ball pit from which honestly saved the day and kept all the boys very happy this year.

A little overdue to the feed, but as most of you already know, my feed runs in 3s, so I still have a few more photos coming soon. 🍑🍎🍌🍊🥑

🎈We celebrated Noah’s birthday much earlier than usual this time because I’m very pregnant 🤰🏽 and have a strong feeling this baby will make their debut right around Noah’s actual birthday in January!

It had been months since I last decorated for a party, and it felt amazing to get back into it. While it was definitely more challenging with a big belly and without my trusty friend Gabriella to lend a hand, everything came together beautifully in the end.

Most importantly, Noah had the best time, as always!

A special shout out to KiKis Face Painting for taking our booking at such short notice and surviving the super hot conditions inside the community hall 🩷
