CJ Slayer, winner of Your Shot 2022, loves a party and has long been in the electronic music scene, raving her way to a solid musical education.

Her sets are driving with a diverse range of groovy electro, dark-wave/post-punk to hard hitting techno in an attempt to bring her audience on a journey to the unknown.

Recently, CJ made her international debut at Chasing Summer festival, Canada supporting artists Tiesto and James Hype. She’s played at clubs around Melbourne including Sub Club, New Guernica, Revolver, 24 Moons and Rubix, supporting local and international line-ups. 🔥

Raw, hypnotic, hard techno with realms of acid techno or hard dance depending on the assignment - Caity draws inspirations from labels such as KD Raw, HATE, Filth on Acid & OBSCUUR Records. Relentless, hypnotic & a little bit silly, Caity's sets are meticulous in their progression.

Caity's years of enthusiasm in running events led her to establish Naarm hard techno collective .events in 2023. '150 BPM' is a mindset - aiming to push artists to play what they thought they could never get away with.

Caity has played at iconic Naarm venues such as Melbourne Pavilion, My Aeon, Rubix Warehouse & Revolver Lane. She has played for Kiss FM, Area3000 radio & Anomalie Collective and has residencies at Radio Bar & Lucky Schmuck.
