1 vs 100

On November 18th 2021, I posed for this photo for the first time not knowing that it would become the thing I’d ritualistically do before every wedding and that less than 3 years later I’d be standing here for the 100th time.

Of course, every wedding is different: from the paperwork signings in homes, parks or VR game studios to the most lavish wedding venues and remote islands, this pose is like that deep breath that reassures me: “I’ve got this!”

I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to be ready. I was ready for wedding 1 just as I’m ready for wedding 100 but with a whole lot of experience in between. I’m looking forward to being ready for 200 (and beyond) and the growth that will come from it 💕

You don't always have to exchange rings...
.. but when you do, I like to combine it with the legal vows.

Why?

Because this is the moment where you become legit married! The paperwork afterwards is the formality of this moment, but you are already married by the time we sign.

Once the words have been said, I move right out of the way so you can get snaps of the exact ring placement.

The benefits of arriving early! 🎶

⭐️ DANCE LESSONS ⭐️ In addition to teaching couples for their first dance, I also run weekly swing dancing group classes with Rusty through Rusty’s Swing Dancing in Mitcham on Wednesday nights. Here is a snippet from our beginner lesson last night. That’s right, you can learn how to do this in 50 minutes! We welcome walk-ins all year round and while the dancing is partnered you don’t need to bring one with you. Come join us at 7pm on Wednesdays at Antonio Park Primary School in Mitcham. And yes, we’re running through the school holidays!
