I have been involved in the wedding and events industry for nearly 10 years, planning, styling and managing many events through my business Events By Kate. I am so grateful for the past decade as it has lead me to this next chapter of my journey. I did not appreciate what ‘ living your purpose’ meant until I completed my celebrant licence and began officiating weddings and farewell se

I was so humbled to be invited to stay on at Tatum and Stefan’s reception in Tuscany. It was such a special experience in every way. This frame perfectly captures how I felt listening to Stefan’s thank you speech; it brought tears to my eyes. I really do marry the most kindest souls!

I treasure the connections I am lucky to make in my role as a celebrant. Yesterday, I had the profound privilege of officiating Stuart’s farewell service, and it was beyond an honour.

Stuart was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a doting grandfather and great grandfather whose presence enriched the lives of everyone around him.

I first met Stuart at his daughter Christine and Warren’s surprise vow renewal and again at his granddaughter Jessie and Nick’s wedding. At that wedding, I surprised Jessie and Nick by inviting Stuart to share a few words and his advice for a long and happy marriage. In that moment, I saw Stuart’s love for a speech and a microphone! He spoke beautifully and proudly about his gorgeous wife Joan, their incredible partnership, and their amazing life together.

Stuart’s life was a testament to the power of family and the deep love he had for each of them. I feel incredibly blessed to have been part of such a special and touching tribute, thank you Joan and family for the privilege. ❤️

We had the pleasure of working with Kate as our wedding celebrant, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. After meeting a few celebrants, we immediately felt a connection with Kate. Her friendly, relaxed, down-to-earth, and sweet vibe matched ours perfectly. She was so warm and welcoming, and we just knew she was the one we wanted to marry us.

Kate was excellent at explaining the entire process to us, providing us with plenty of helpful documents and examples. Her templates were incredibly useful and made it easy for us to build the perfect wedding script and vows.

One unique and wonderful aspect of working with Kate was her approach of having us fill out separate questionnaires. This made our wedding script a beautiful surprise on the day, and hearing it for the first time during our ceremony was truly special.

On the day of the wedding, Kate was incredibly helpful in guiding us on what to do and easing our nerves. Despite being based in the UK, she made time to see us a week before the wedding. We had such a lovely time catching up and getting to know each other better over coffee. She’s the kind of person you just want to be friends with – we didn’t want to leave!

Kate is an exceptional wedding celebrant who we had the pleasure of working with for both our legal ceremony in Australia and our destination wedding in Tuscany Italy.

Her professionalism and attention to detail were seamless throughout the entire process. As soon as we met Kate we knew nobody was going to compare, she had the warmest heart, being so welcoming, and also quirky and goofy which sums our personalities up amazingly!

Kate not only performed her duties flawlessly, but she also brought a warmth and sincerity to our special day that made it truly unforgettable. We now consider Kate a part of our family and trust her implicitly.

Kate was an amazing celebrant. From the moment we met she reassured us of the process and was very accommodating when working out a time to meet up prior to the big day.

She has great interpersonal skills and really got to know the both of us. Kate was able to capture our story in a way that was true to us and involved great humor which captured the audience.

It all started under the iconic clocks of Flinders Street Station.

Lee was enchanted from the moment he heard Carolina’s voice. Her laughter, infectious and unrestrained, became Lee’s instant favourite new soundtrack. As they walked through the Melbourne Botanic Gardens, the connection between them deepened with every step. Then, along the Yarra River, as they embraced, Lee felt a shift—a heart-stopping moment, he had been sucked into the vortex and he was in true love for the very first time.

Carolina glimpsed Lee’s thoughtfulness, consideration, and care from the very beginning. And when she laid eyes on him for the first time, carrying two steaming cups, she couldn’t help but notice his striking handsomeness.

In that moment, she felt seen, cherished, and safe, qualities that seemed to radiate from him effortlessly. Carolina sensed that Lee was the type of person who would always have her back, her haven in a chaotic world.

From that day on, Carolina and Lee became inseparable. Their connection deepened as they shared their dreams, laughter, and unwavering support, turning each day into an endless honeymoon.

To journey through the rest of this life side by side is all Carolina and Lee desire, an adventure they are ready to embrace and all the wonders that lie ahead together.

They are simply walking each other home 💕

Kate was the first celebrant we met with, and we knew instantly she was the one to marry us. Her professionalism, passion, warmth and kindness made us feel so comfortable and we instantly felt like we were catching up with a friend.

Our favourite part of our wedding day was our ceremony, and it is a big thank you to Kate. It was such a special and memorable experience. Kate told our story so well, with some laughs, some tears and you could feel the love in the room. Kate made us feel at ease and calmed our nerves so much on the day. In the lead up Kate was the perfect support for writing our vows.

Knowing Kate is with you every step of the way with invaluable support, guidance, communication and detail proves she is a true expert in her field!

We cannot recommend Kate enough, wish we could do it all again! Thank you for sharing the day with us!

Kate arranged the most amazing wedding for us in March 2020 which was sadly cancelled due to the pandemic. In addition to helping us plan wedding 2.0, our day was made all the more special when two years later she was able to be the official celebrant on our wedding day in February 2022. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Kate is the most genuine, kind and fun-loving person and her care and attention to detail made our day.
