I almost didn’t post this. It’s crazy to think that I felt a photo of me absolutely loving my work was unprofessional, desperate and cocky. But hell, here I am. This is me, Saturday night, setting up a room full of my work. For this job I sat there for hours pulling back the petals on 70 roses one by one. I loved every second of it. Do I have the time to do this full time with a baby? Absolutely not! But do I love every second of it when I do? I love it so much that my mind goes to another place.
So here’s me, loving my work, absolutely beaming when I finished the job 💖🌸

I can not thank you all enough for the support I have received in 2022! Weather it’s been purchasing an arrangement, sharing a photo or just liking a photo. YOU are the reason I can continue the business and spend time during the days with Noah and continue to work from home of a night once his in bed. An absolute blessing.

Hi 👋 I’m Megan and I’m the maker of Petals and Posies! I decided it’s finally time to meet the maker!

As a young girl I was always obsessed with flowers! My Dad was a gardener for 62 years.. Yep I got that right!! So as a little girl my Dad would bring flowers home from work every day and it was my job to create ‘a posy’ as he would call them. My obsession continued with flowers and it wasn’t until 2 years ago (almost to the day!) that I created Petals and Posies as a side business.

Last year, my Dad unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack. Going back to work was really challenging, yet I felt so content and such a connection with Dad every time I worked on Petals and Posies, so it was then that I decided to leave my job and work on P&P full time!

February this year, after 2 years of postponing because of covid- I finally got to marry the most amazing, kind hearted, beautiful man I’ve ever met. If it wasn’t for him supporting and encouraging me every step of the way, Petals and Posies wouldn’t be what it is today!

Fast forward to July this year I took 5 months off to have our sweet little miracle IVF baby, Noah. After years of trying, 57 injections, multiple operations and multiple angel babies, we finally had a little 5 pound baby arrive earth side 🤍

Most days are now spent with little Noah, and once he goes to bed, my nights are spent making arrangements for Petals and Posies.

Every single arrangement is created with so much love, so much thought and so much passion. Still to this day, I feel such a strong connection to my dad every time I work on the business.

So now that you know me, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, from little family to yours ♥️🎄✨
