Julia and Christian married on Sunday and were so lovely to work with and marry! With a wedding party of 16, including themselves, there was a lot of love, family and friendship about.

It was a perfect day for these two to marry in the picturesque Tap for the wonderful suppliers of the day.

Spending Friday arvo and eve with Carly and Greg as their celebrant and MC was absolutely fantastic. This awesome couple wanted a laid back ceremony and vibe and their pocket-rocket 11 month old daughter, Ivy, loved being a part of it and claiming her own attention along the way. Andrew from and Josh from captured the day’s moments.

The glorious food and Zoncellos went down a treat whilst I organised and coordinated the formalities as the couple and guests partied into the night with .ontour

Bec and Beau got together 20 years ago when they connected after high school. 24 years ago I first met them as students when I was the new drama teacher at Rowville SC (yep, certainly ages me!)

Last weekend, they married on their picturesque property in the Yarra Valley where they’re planning to build their dream home. It rained, and it rained and it rained. But, these two were absolute troopers and along with their wedding party, took it in their stride and we laughed!

Beau and Bec have 3 wonderful daughters who were in the wedding party along with 2 blokes who are lifelong school friends of Beau’s and former students of mine as well.

The life they have created for themselves, family, and friends is just beautiful and they have achieved so many goals and dreams with more to come.

I was thrilled to their celebrant and finally marry them after all these years. Congrats and Beau! I loved it 🥰

Jess emailed me, ‘I can’t thank you enough for a wonderful day. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful, all my family and friends told me they loved it.’

It was a wonderful celebration for Jess and her daughter Marley. A family-oriented gathering to welcome this bundle of joy and treasure all the years to come. They’re great!

Two weeks in a row I marry a former student! Sarah and Jordy, a former LHC student, married on Saturday at It was arctic-like conditions 🥶 😜 but we had a ball. With still the space and and capturing the day, it all came together brilliantly.

After I introduced myself before the ceremony, a couple, one the bride’s cousin, approached me to say I married them 14 years ago (see last pic)! Was great to catch up and they showed some pics of me at their wedding 😂

‘Byrnesy, I’m having a surprise wedding at my engagement party. When are you free?’ Jarred was a student of mine from Lilydale Heights College years back and wanted to lock me in.

And so began the planning with Jarred and Katelyn to lock in a venue and get them married! It was a bloody fabulous ceremony with so many laughs, a couple of tears, and great fun. The surprise went down a treat!

It was great to catch up with more former students and see the couple so stoked. I so loved marrying Katelyn and Jarred and being such an important part of their surprise celebration. Cheers 🥂

YV local legends, Kaz and Dale, invited their important peeps to celebrate their 60th birthdays (one day apart!) last Saturday. As they ducked out to get changed, cue those in the know and me to announce that they’re also gettin’ married! You beauty 🙌

There were gasps, laughs, tears, surprise and so much love in the air during their ceremony. It’s exactly what they wanted and I was so thrilled to make it happen.

This morning I married Ellena and Nicholas in the chapel at on a day where winter was kind for outdoor photos.

Ellena made her entrance with mum Rosa and squealed with delight as she showed Nicholas that her dress had pockets! Daughter Ava watched from the front row with her grandparents and can finally say she’s married!

Back from Bali this morning and off to this afternoon to marry the private J and A. The sun made a beautiful appearance. It was a fabulous ceremony for them, great to work with and they will celebrate into the night with their 100+ guests.

⭐️ ⭐️ 1 5 Y E A R S ⭐️ ⭐️ Fifteen years ago today I conducted my first official wedding at The Botanical Gardens with 100km winds, styling that fell over, a happy couple and a new business was born. I started as a single parent of a 3 and 2 year old, @kenzietully @logantully7 where couples came to my house to meet and were all so accommodating with kids sometimes jumping in, helping out with a ring rehearsal or cheekily asking for a snack. With my 1000th wedding coming up next year, I thank all the couples who chose me, for everything I’ve learned, the friendships made, the suppliers I work with and my family and friends for supporting me through weekend work. It’s a great gig and I look forward to working with many more awesome peeps in the years to come, including this pic taken at a recent photoshoot.
