Happy holidays folks

On Friday evening Women @ Lowie Live are presenting Chicha YeYe. Chicha YeYe are a Peruvian Cumbia band that takes you the swamps of the Amazon, high above the Andes and down the city streets of Lima. Exploring intersections of history, culture and sound, they bring life to some of the funkiest music in the Southern Hemisphere with their psychedelic twists and infectious grooves. - Tamer Tas on bass
- Corey Romeo on guitar
- Michael O'Connor on flute

Due to unforeseen circumstances the Women @ Lowie Live will be cancelled for the September gig.
We are looking forward to having Bonnie Smith play with us in October.

The Lomond Hotel is excited to be featuring a new night that will be featuring female artist and their bands. We are wanting to venture out into other form of music with a strong emphasis on world music. We are looking at this stage at holding a space for women on the second Thursday of the month with the hope to increasing womens participation over all in the music sense in Melbourne. Bringing about a space where women can be celebrated for the music they bring, their culture in a night of traditional and contemporary styles.
