Industry: Williamstown Football Club (WFC) established in 1864, is one of the most historic and successful clubs in the nation. WFC has proudly represented the Hobsons Bay community for over 155 years, and currently fields both men’s and women’s teams in the Australian Rules state league competitions (VFL and VFLW).

Primary Job Purpose
The Event Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating events, monitoring the completion of all events scheduled throughout the calendar year, working alongside the guidance of the Venue & Event Manager to produce successful events, and other match day F&B satellite operations as required. An Event Supervisor is tasked with maintaining high levels of food and beverage service throughout an event/ground operations, whilst also completing end of day procedures for most if not all events, ensuring a sustained high level of compliance with venue practises. The role is a part-time position and is to be fulfilled by someone of an energetic and warm nature.
Job Responsibilities
• Supervision of food and beverage service – both cocktail, sit down events & QSR as required.
• Responsible for food and beverage staff, ensuring high levels of service are maintained by all staff at all times.
• An Event Supervisor must have obtained both Food Safety Supervisor and Responsible service of alcohol certification.
• Assist with continual organisation of the Seaview event space, kitchen operations, bar and storage areas on a continual basis. Including but not limited to, event space set up, kitchen and bar stock taking, implementation of health and hygiene and COVID-safe safety practises.
• Tasked with supervising food and beverage activities on WFC match days – including canteen and beverage service throughout the Downer oval precinct.
• Assist Event Manager with other duties where deemed necessary.
