Another great experience with our team project managing the event in Adelaide! Four days, 700+ attendees, six streams, 80+ sessions, ~50 school students competing in robotics, and much more.

A huge congrats to the Rockwell Automation team on a massive event! The advanced manufacturing/production industry is thriving in South Australia.

And as always thank you to our incredible team that led this event and worked tirelessly to ensure its success.

Looking forward to next year’s event—details to be announced soon!

We absolutely loved how our client created diverse spaces for different needs at this conference!

Delegates could choose between the auditorium plenary or a live-streamed breakout room with tables and chairs in the exhibition area. This setup catered to various needs—taking phone calls, networking, sensory preferences, or just needing a break.

Let’s see more inclusive conferencing like this! 🌟

📣Victoria is about to put nasty single-use plastics in the bin…permanently. 🚮

Here’s how you can get on board and make the change.

As of the 1st February 2023, Victoria will be stamping out single-use plastics including the following items:
Single-use plastic drinking straws and stirrers
Single-use plastic cutlery
Single-use plastic plates
Single-use plastic cotton buds
Foodservice items and drink containers made from expanded polystyrene (EPS)

Note: Some exemptions apply to specific items. Compostable plastic or ‘plant-based’ plastic alternatives are also banned. Manufacturers of reusable plastic items will need to supply a written warranty (or similar written representation) of at least 1 year.

The ban will apply to all businesses and organisations, and includes retailers, suppliers, importers, not-for-profits, government, and other community groups. So, if you haven’t already then now is the time to start thinking about how you can eliminate single-use plastics from your next conference or business event.

There's a first for everything and last week we were the first client to run a conference at the brand new Sebel in Yarrawonga!

It was such a thrill being back onsite in Regional Victoria. We had over 140 delegates and 16 trade exhibitors join us for the 2.5 day event and well, let's just say it was a HIT!

Thanks to the incredible team Alysha, Tonique Langlois and Jason for making the event a huge success.

Yes, you read that correctly.

If you are looking at ways to reduce your food waste and your carbon footprint at events then selecting the 'menu of the day' is one small step you can take.

Often, ordering multiple lunch options for your event will mean ordering ingredients that may not already be in inventory. Multiply that by the number of events and catering breaks across a venue in a single week and that works out to be a hell of a lot of food wastage.

To combat this problem, reputable venues will offer a thoughtfully sourced, carefully served menu that will help cut down on food waste and your budget.

If you ask us, that's a win-win. 🌏

It is so important in fact we wrote a blog post to help make sure you get it right.
