On the way to Northcote to sell flowers on a rainy wintery day. Feeling kinda silly, knowing that its unlikely people will come out on a day like this and Ahmad says: It's about the flowers, the play, the love. You love to play with flowers, you put love into each stem you pick and position in each bouquet, you make them from joy and offer them as little gift of joy to others. People may come and buy them or they may not but you are putting your joy into the world. So we kept driving and put these little gifts out on the street. And I sold one bouquet. It's why we decided to make this business - to create some beauty and joy.

April: I am walking along Edgars Creek - a tributary of the Merri Merri - just behind this new home I am making. There are lots of wild weeds for eating and these artichokes with bright sunflowery blossoms for picking.
