FINALLY this beautiful couple have their wedding party, nearly three years (and a beautiful toddler as well) after their small family legal wedding. It was worth the wait - we had a great Renewal of Vows at the magical Nathania Springs. I first met this couple in 2019 and then COVID happened! Today was well worth the wait.❤️💓🍸💞

Some days I am more than a Celebrant. Today I hold my first book in my hand. I am now, also an author.
Tough stuff happened when my son, Jono, took his own life in 2022. This book will be helpful for anyone who may have faced a similar situation, or those supporting the su***de bereaved.

I have been honoured to be part of many weddings who are my own children's friends. This is my son Jono, who was friends with the couple I had just married. I truly do feel the love of all the couples I marry and it is an honour to be part of so many love stories. Just below that love, I also carry a different sort of love.
Yesterday marked two years since Jono left this earth, unexpectedly and tragically. After his death, amidst the grief and trauma, I still experience his love as he encourages me to keep going.
Thank you to all the beautiful couples who have chosen me as their Celebrant and continue to. I do believe that living my own pain puts me in touch with real and deep emotion and I feel that as I make your love stories come true.
During the many weddings and funerals I have been honoured to be part of since Jono's death, I have woven my grief into writing a book about my experience of my own grief and how my resilience and love have helped me to keep going. It is called "Facing the Unfathomable...".
