Drawing from over two decades’ experience in Event Coordination and Management, and over four decades in cultural Arts and Entertainment, EVENTS by MANASIS provides an unmatched, unrivalled standard of knowledge and expertise in the industry. Our fundamental belief is that no event template is ever ‘standard’, and no two events are ever the same. Hence, the only pragmatic solution is in conceiving

a completely bespoke and highly customised programme, reflecting the unique personality and character of every client. INSPIRATION

NEVER INFORMAL- Tavern nights, School formals and social events

They might be young and just want to party, but that's no excuse to cut corners when it comes to event coordination and management!

School formals, youth nights, tavern nights, trivia nights, social events and more. We provide services ranging from schedules and programming, to complete event contracting and logistics- venue, floor-plan / layout, catering, styling, decor, props, AV / lighting, audio, Master of Ceremonies, DJs, live bands, musicians, soloists, floor-shows, entertainers... and on... and on... and on...!!!

All we really need to know is a date...

We can work with you / your team and provide guidance and support throughout the entire process, or, we'll take care of the entire project and ensure an event inclusive of all preferences, requirements and expectations.
..and then we're sure we'll exceed those too!

Over the past four decades, and with the ever-growing experience of its students and two instructors, the MANASIS School of Greek Dance and Culture has set unmatched, unrivalled standards, in ex*****on, choreography and discipline.

One of the school’s fundamental beliefs is to continuously strive to present a new movement, a new position, a new idea, differing from the customary formation, to show that dance too, just like art, evolves.

As the school endlessly searches and creates new methods of ex*****on, its belief is that all culture should evolve with time, whilst still remaining firmly embedded in its traditional past.

THE MANASIS TAVERN NIGHT, 2025 SAW HUNDREDS OF GUESTS CONVERGE AT THE GRAND ON PRINCES FOR AN EPIC NIGHT OF GLENDI!

Our dance school in the past has hosted many successful Tavern Nights, both for our students, families and the general public, and over recent years had seen exponential growth, with the participation and humbling support we receive from the wider community.

…So, we decided to step the entire event “up a notch”! This year’s jam-packed programme was set to be the most entertaining and enjoyable ever, filling the evening with colour, dance, music and most important of all, non-stop GLENDI!!!

All night long our event DJ Chris T (Subliminal Entertainment and Events) kept everyone on their toes, with the best mix of traditional and modern club style Greek music. In conjunction with all this, the MANASIS Band, and other guest musicians, presented the “best-of-the-best” traditional style folk music with their unique LIVE INSTRUMENTAL FLOORSHOWS!

To top it all off, an Audio/Visual system complete with lasers, automated coloured lighting and smoke machines, ensured the perfect club style atmosphere for an evening of non-stop entertainment!!!

As the evening developed the ‘club scene’ took centre-stage with everyone’s favourite latest and modern Greek tunes, even fitting in some Serbian, Bulgarian, and Romanian tracks for our regular attendees and supporters… of course, followed by the all-important and best-til-last zebekika!

And the party went on... And on... And on... with the night finally coming to a close in the early hours of Sunday morning!

Definitely one for the history books!

IN THE OPEN AIR- Outdoor festivals and community events

With over four decades' experience in Arts and Entertainment, being in the spotlight is one of our most comfortable environments.

As Australia's largest Greek dance school with over 700 enrolled students, and an asset base of hundreds of traditional Greek folk dance costumes and instruments, full-scale productions in the open air are our 'element' and highlight the beauty of culture through music and dance.

We pride ourselves on a multi-disciplinary approach, attending to layout, contractors, service providers, risk management, programming, coordination, schedule, costume, choreography, and more, to ensure a seamlessly flowing outdoor spectacular.

Celebrating cultural diversity, and highlighting the many similarities various cultures share, is at the core of our philosophy.

The Hellenic Museum in conjunction with the Greek Media Group hosts an annual GLENDI in honour of the Greek National Day, with an incredible lineup of dance, music, culture and flavours!

Concurrently, the event celebrated the 30th Year Anniversary since 3XY Radio Hellas hit the airwaves, and gave guests the opportunity to reflect on its immeasurable contribution across our cultural landscape!!!

Students from the MANASIS School of Greek Dance and Culture performed traditional Greek dances and hosted numerous dance workshops for all attendees!

OFFICIAL REPRESENTATION- Parades, commemorations and ceremonies

Throughout each year, a multitude of commemorative events are conducted around the state.

Whether it's ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day, Greek National Day, or any other parade or ceremony, our 'Melbourne Evzones' are there to support and represent!

Dressed completely from head to toe (covered with pom-poms!) in full traditional Greek costumes and carrying 3m-tall flagpoles, these guys are the 'go-to' troupe to ensure a professional and inspiring addition to any commemorative event.

In addition to the flag bearers, there's also a marching band complete with traditional Greek folk drums (daouli), and again, all dressed in traditional costumes. Combined, they form the FROURA | Hellenic Australian Honorary Guard.

First you'll hear them coming... then you'll see them!

As the school constantly strives to find new methods of ex*****on, the belief is that all culture should evolve and move with the times, but remain firmly embedded in its past.

For many years, our school has staged Annual Dinner Dances, exhibiting dances, music and costumes from the various regions of Greece.

The annual MANASIS School of Greek Dance and Culture end of year Christmas Break Up Party for our Senior and Adult students, was absolutely "lit"! 🥳🎉🎄
..goodness me, do these guys know how to party!!!

Yet another dance year comes to a close, and what an incredible year it was... We're grateful to have concluded an uninterrupted, successful and prosperous year with our amazing students and their families!🙏🙏🙏
