I wanted to share this moving song by the great Claudio Baglioni called Lettera.

Having lost both parents I find I can relate to the lyrics, as I am sure many of you can too.

It is good to feel these emotions even though they can perhaps make you feel sad - because it keeps me in touch with my heart.

Great food in a comfortable cabaret venue with wide selection of dance music.

I would like to reach out to all my fans and followers and your respective families, wishing you all the best for 2025. 2024 has been an awesome year for me at Los Amigos with over 80 live performances during 2024 - the last one is NYE.

What a fabulous thrill it is to be up on stage singing and performing songs that I love with all of you.

I pray that 2025 bring you all that your heart desires but most of all - health, love and happiness with your loved ones.

See you on the dance floor!

I came across this clip on YT where John Denver is reflecting on his guitar.

I feel the same about my first guitar. It belonged to my Dad before me and I can still see him playing his old songs with the only 2 chords he knew how to play.

He has long since gone but the guitar is still around. My son has it now. I have added some amazing guitars to my collection since that time but it still holds a special place in my heart. I occasionally hold it when I visit my son, get it in tune, strum a few chords and just like magic, I am 15 again.

Some say nostalgia is bad for the heart and that one should never look back but I just can't bring myself to toss memories aside, just like I could never toss one of my guitars away.

Anyway hope you enjoy the tune.

By the way, so looking forward to my next performance on Sunday with the Dromana Italian Citizens Club as we celebrate Fathers Day just gone.

I would like to extend to all fathers, my best wishes on this day - a day where we stop to think of what it means to be a dad.

A time to remember what it was like to hold your young children in your arms for the first time and to feel that amazing love in your heart. A time to remember what they were like as they became teenagers and started to truly develop their own personalities.

A time to feel the emptiness when they left to be with their own families and to look forward to when we got together as one family again.

A time to remember when we held our grandkids and again marveled at life and love. And a time to reflect on our own fathers who perhaps have long since gone.

What an amazing week that has just gone. 4 performances - Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Had an amazing time with our friends at the German Club Tivoli where I perform under the stage name of Johnny B. What wonderful food and the ambiance was terrific on Saturday.

Then a long trip early Sunday to our performance at the Dromana Italian Citizens Club. The place was humming with excitement and people were having a great time socializing and dancing.

Looking forward to our next show next month!
