Having had a career in working with children, young people and families and managing community services, I have learnt so much about the importance of celebrating life, love, family and friends. Being able to share your life events with those you love is so important in this demanding and unpredictable world we live in. I have worked closely with diverse communities and I am sensitive and inclusiv

e in my approach to celebrating what makes each of us unique. My own experience of raising children and being part of a family and extended family, has meant I have felt true joy and happiness throughout the years; and times of real sadness and grief through the loss of loved ones. People who know me describe me as confident, warm, empathetic, fun and reliable. I am fortunate that my career has given me a lot of experience in event planning, public speaking and interacting with people at all levels. It was after the death of my life partner that I decided to take a leap of faith in leaving my career to become a Celebrant. Life is very precious and I am thrilled to be able to help and support others to create a ceremony that means they will have their one day to remember.
