Last week was filled with some wonderful gigs. Here I was out with caravan Benny at Burnett House in Darwin on Friday night.
A beautiful spot very popular for weddings. I was able to jump out and capture the crowd and the caravan for Elley & Tom's last song request of the night. Lighting upgrade looking fab.
Last week In played two events for NT Major events who were holding some family friendly afternoons as the V8 Supercars were in town!
This is footage from the Drivers Signing night in Darwin City along the esplanade.
I provided a slightly larger sound system to cover the hundreds of people enjoying the entertainment and waiting to get a glimpse of the drivers!

I spent my long weekend up at Falls Creek for the ‘Peaks Challenge’ with a wonderful group of cyclists, volunteers and Bicycle Network staff.
It was a 5 hour drive with caravan in tow up to Falls, with 2 solid days of music played … with very few repeats ;)
The plan, the create a great energy, suited for a large range of ages. It was a mixture of Gold Fm & your workout playlist.
235km covered by 2000 cyclists in 38 degree conditions. Unbelievable stuff.
Long days but lots of fun. Another great event put on by the fab team at @bicycle_network

Oh and PS - I said it was a race…it’s not a race, it’s a ride for all. Just finishing is an incredible achievement!

I have 2 problems.
1. I very rarely film myself mixing, doing transitions etc which sucks because you, the follower, want to get a good idea if I can actually play live and fast rather than just have pre recorded mixes.
I actually had someone come up to me recently to check I was mixing live because they didn’t believe it was so smooth and they had seen DJ’s with pre recorded sets / transitions at other events.
I simply couldn’t do that. You’ve got to be able to mix on the spot and pivot quickly.
2. I am considering changing my name to DJ Concentration.
Because I put on this serious concerntration face in the mix. Oh don’t worry, I know I do.
Hey, in between it all I’m happy as Larry, but I want to give you the best experience, and that requires me to concentrate for a few solid hours.
So here’s a quick mix from Saturday night that I happened to get. Mixing between tracks that aren’t electronic music and ‘live’ are harder as they aren’t always in perfect time, this is when Live Loops comes into play.
I think this also tells a bit about the type of wedding and crowd Elley and Tom had on their day!

The Neon Tv lives and is hired out only in Melbourne.

Here we have the caravan looking spectacular in the corner of the room which was dressed beautifully for Sarah & Wills Wedding. I was so thrilled to not only be apart of their day, but also check out such a wonderfully versitile spot to celebrate an event.
A top afternoon a few weeks back at @trofeoestate on the Mornington peninsula for the Oaks Day Charity Event! The ladies (and a few gentlemen) really enjoyed the afternoon after a few cheeky champagne’s.🍾

Last Saturday was a big day!
I played my first game of women’s footy up in Darwin.
Now I’ve played footy for over 15 years now, but never in 37 degree heat. It was🔥.
Once the game was over and I stood in the cold shower trying to reduce the body temperature, I started bumping in for the clubs first function, ‘Tigers in the Grass’ 🐯.
It’s a different vibe up here compared to Melbourne.
Teams socialise with one another and both clubs stuck around to enjoy a party into the night. A great community.
We went hard until midnight.
A super fun event for the club.
But I was absolutely ready for bed after this one.

Karaoke…you say your not interested, then three beers later we can’t get the mic out of your hand and Meat Loaf’s ‘Paradise by the dashboard light’ is playing…all 8.55 minutes off it.
This was a successful trail run with the Caravan Karaoke. More to add and tidy up, but happy with the first test. I’m using Karafun which is the number one program for Karaoke!
Available and ready to rock in Melbourne for Summer and Darwin in the dry!

The caravan looks brilliant on its own, however can be changed completely thanks to installing decals.
Change the colour of the white, or the wood panels to match your brand or theme.
The process is simple,
1. We can send you a PDF with prices & quote
2. Templates sent for design or for simple designs like names after the bench, a font list will be sent out.
3. Design sent to printer for approval and confirm
4. We handle the rest
By keeping the majority of our installations in house we can offer very reasonable prices, much cheaper than you think. Example, the names under the bench are $180 gst inc. this is for design, print and install.
For full caravan wraps it will need to be sent to the professionals. If so, these will be discussed in the initial quote process.

Something simple to help dress up the bench which can really help make it pop.
Dressing the bench will be as simple and cheap as $10 to make it easy on yourself.

It tells a hell of a lot about who you are and what makes you feel good.
For me, comfort is key which allows me to be the best version of myself…for you.
Some people have a specific stereotype in their head for who and what they want for their event…and that is totally okay. That may mean I’m not for you.
This is a little bit of insight into what makes me feel good, to help you understand what you will get on the day. Colourful, tidy and fun.
It doesn’t mean I’m not ridiculously attentive, obsessively on time (generally early) and very well prepared. So don’t mistake the party shirt for a lack of desire to perform at my best!
