Small businesses like MaryLou’s Cafe in the heart of Glenroy are the backbone of our economy, creating jobs and opportunities for locals. Not to mention an amazing spot to recharge before going doorknocking each weekend!

I’ve worked for a small business for 16 years as a tradie and I know how much they give back to our local community.

If I am lucky enough to be elected as the new councillor for Box Forest Ward in Merri-bek City Council, I will be responsive to the concerns of our small businesses and traders.

'Inspire Inclusion' is this year's International Women's Day theme. To celebrate the day Mulberry Community Garden will be hosting a FREE Community Morning Tea in the backdrop of our community garden.

This years event is being supported by Barry Plant Real Estate Agency and MaryLou's Cafe in Glenroy who will be supplying and making coffee and tea for us.
Garden members will be providing various baked goods - vegetarian and gluten free items will be available. If you feel like contributing to this event, we'd welcome any home baked goods (ingredient listing must be provided).

We look forward to celebrating and seeing you in the garden!
