Taking some time out with the fam while we head over to the UK & Europe to see my partner’s family. It’ll be the first time they’re meeting our son 😭 I’ll also be swapping my celebrant mic for a bridesmaid dress and watching one of my oldest friends marry her person over there 🥹

I also need a break. I’m bloody tired. This year has been magical so far, but a lot.

The toxic people pleaser in me is tempted to say some crap like “I’ll still be available via email” etc etc. But I really want to try properly switch off from social media and emails. If you are an existing couple of mine, I will sporadically check my emails for any URGENT messages (i.e your wedding date has changed). But otherwise, I won’t be responding to any DMs, emails or enquiries during this time. I will respond when I’m back sometime end of June/early July…exact date TBC, I’ll see how I’m feeling lol.

Adore you all and am so excited to get back to marrying some lovely souls in September! But for now, I’m going make myself a delicious negroni and catch my breath ❤️✌🏼x

Only 3 weddings left for the season and damn are they are all going to be exquisite! Very excited to be heading to this weekend to marry two utterly delicious individuals, then wrapping things up next week at and also for another two beautiful couples. All with killer vendor teams, I might add. I bloody love this job, but oh boy am I excited for some down time to recharge the batteries once the season wraps. Happy Thursday, all ❤️

I’m not your average celebrant. The legal stuff is honestly such a small part of what I do. Each couple is so bloody special to me and I will always do everything I can to ensure your day is perfect, even if it’s not directly related to the ceremony. I’ve absolutely got your back x

✨Julia & Aaron✨

“Julia and Aaron’s first meeting was, indeed, Grand, meeting at none other than the Grand Hyatt Hotel here in Melbourne. Aaron was simply minding his own business working a run-of-the-mill morning shift in the valet department when he heard through the grapevine there would be a new starter joining that day.

Aaron remembers first seeing Julia out on the driveway, her hair and infectious smile immediately catching his eye. Was this the new starter he’d heard about?! Well and truly distracted, he admits he tried to play it cool and avoided eye contact at all costs.

When Julia first laid eyes on Aaron, she thought he was quite dashing. Julia remembers thinking this guy is like all her childhood crushes merged into one – the perfect combo of strong Mr Darcy and handsome Prince Phillip from Sleeping Beauty… and damn, did he look gooooood in his uniform’s waistcoat and tie…”

I could not love Julia and Aaron more if I tried! An old childhood friend of mine, it was an extra special ceremony for me. Had to try v hard to remain profesh and keep it together doing the vows (spoiler…I did not).

How is this my job? What? Working with hot couples, at stunning venues, with phenom other vendors, seeing your friends and fam bursting with love and pride. It’s actually insane. Being a celebrant is bloody hard work (don’t let Instagram fool you), but damn do I fricken love it.
