Misha & Jordan šŸ«¶šŸ¼ Two of my absolute favourites! Saying goodbye to a couple after their ceremony is such a funny feeling for me. It’s a moment so full of joy and excitement, but also with a little tinge of sadness because it often signals the end of our relationship. After working with a couple for a year+ on their ceremony, sharing countless emails, multiple meetings, numerous voice notes and DMs, it feels so weird for it all then to just stop suddenly. It’s like a strange quasi-breakup, but for really really happy reasons? Then my couples very politely put up with me stalking their socials for the rest of their lives šŸ’šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

Big love to you Misha & Jordan! ā¤ļø

Just a girl, standing in front of your guests, facing an unexpectedly and unseasonably cold breeze, trying not to shiver and shake her mic, hoping her freezing ni***es can’t be seen by the entire wedding party.

Reminder…Melbourne weather is unpredictable af 🤪

✨2025 FEE & BIZ UPDATE✨

A new year brings a few new updates for my business:

1. I have increased my fully personalised ceremony fee to $2000. As time goes on, I am more confident in knowing my worth and the value I bring to my couples. This increase is also reflective of the current celebrant industry and where I sit in it. I’ve always believed there is a perfect celebrant for every couple and I realise this price increase might not align with some couples budgets. And that is totally okay. I know I’m not the right celebrant for every single couple and I’m finally confident enough in my business to be genuinely comfortable with this fact.

2. I will be focussing more on elopements & micro weddings. That said, I have actually removed my ā€œelopementā€ ceremony package. I have found that even when I have done elopements, couples still want the fully personalised ceremony. So it just made sense to remove this offering and instead put all my energy into my personalised offering.

3. I will be taking far less bookings for the 2025/2026 season. I am returning to my day job 3 days/week and want to make sure I don’t overcommit. A big part of my business is ensuring every couple feels extremely special and well supported. Taking on less weddings while working my day job ensures my level of love and attention will remain the same for my couples, as well as maintaining healthy boundaries for my personal life.

If you’ve actually read this far, god you’re good! Thank you for being here and cheering me on. Weeeee let’s dance, 2025 šŸ•ŗšŸ¼

I had my last ceremony planning meeting for the year this morning. And now I’m officially finished for 2024! I married 21 exquisite couples this year. That’s 42 individuals who trusted me to tell their story and be a part of an epic milestone in their lives. And I think that’s just so cool! I have worked at stunning venues I used to daydream about, and worked alongside countless incredible other vendors (some of who are now good friends). I am super proud of how much my business had grown this year, how I’ve managed to navigate my business alongside full time caring for my son, all while maintaining healthy boundaries (cos boundaries are sexy af) and looking after myself (97% of the time lol).

Thank you to my couples, my fellow vendors, my friends who hype me up, and my beautiful partner Karim (without who my business would literally not be possible).

See you in 2025…I’m off to eat my body weight in ham āœŒšŸ¼

Wedding season is well underway! And engagement season is just around the corner too šŸ‘€

I’ve got so many delicious couples this season, I can’t wait! Over the next few months you’ll find me at:

If you’re getting married late 2025-2026, I’d recommend you start locking in your vendors NOW. Don’t leave it too late.

The feels when you’ve just pulled off your epic surprise wedding šŸ‘ŠšŸ¼

Fran & Mitch left their friends and family totally gobsmacked when they announced that Fran’s 30th birthday party was actually their wedding. I will never forget the look on everyone’s faces!

This was my first surprise wedding and I’m dying to more. Let’s do it!

If you want high energy and good vibes at your wedding, it has to start with you. Be like Phoebe & Brendan who totally nailed their entrance (and everything else at their wedding tbh) šŸ•ŗšŸ¼

Small does not equal less special or less exciting. Let’s be super clear on that.

Tricia & Dean had the most gorgeous micro-wedding with 16 of their closest friends and family in the Botanical Gardens. There’s something extra magical about elopements and micro-weddings, something about couples choosing to celebrate in a way that feels genuine and authentic to them. I find it super empowering and refreshing to see and I really want to do more weddings like this ā¤ļø

Hands up if you’re stoked your bestie just got married! Steph & Michael’s wedding party were all absolute 10/10s. They brought the energy and also helped calm their friends nerves before the ceremony. Your wedding party have a big influence on how you feel on your wedding day, be sure to choose those you know have your back šŸ™ŒšŸ¼

In my happy place, storytelling and connecting.

Also, massive shoutout to all the photographers out there that go out of their way to snap cute pics of us celebrants during the ceremony. You don’t have to do this, it’s not your job, but it honestly means so much when you do. Thank you .light for this snap from V & M’s day x

Oh hey Husband & Wife!

Bronte and I went to kindy and primary school together. My mum even taught Bronte’s brother. Then we moved to different schools and states and life happened. Fast forward 20 years, the Instagram gods showed Bronte my page in her feed and we reconnected again after all this time. Bronte is still the exact same girl I remember from primary school. So bubbly and kind with an infectious laugh. Except now we’re both all grown up and she’s married to most exquisite man, John.

Life is so funny how it works sometimes. It was very surreal marrying these two yesterday and I wish I could do it again every weekend. Congratulations, you two. You are both the most divine individuals and the incredible connection you share is so clear to anyone in your presence. Who’d have thought I’d be marrying you all thanks to the Instagram algorithm! Would you do a group photo DURING the ceremony? Vote belowšŸ‘‡šŸ¼

I’m obviously not a photographer, but this is my new favourite way to do group shots! Let’s do it DURING the ceremony. And here’s why this is a 10/10 choice*:

1. Removes the awkward herding of people post-ceremony and chasing down guests who seemed to have vanished somehow.

2. Your guests are already grouped together! Make the most of it!

3. It saves you so much time. After the ceremony, you can go straight into drinks with your fave people instead of standing around waiting for everyone to be in position.

4. It captures you all during the ceremony, which is actually a really cool memory.

Shoutout to my pal for trusting me enough to give this a go at Steph & Michael’s wedding. I reckon we nailed it!

*There are of course times where this won’t work due to the space or size etc. And that’s okay! But if it’s possible, why not chat to your photographer about it and give it a go?!
