Pre-ceremony energy ✨

If you ask me, the energy your celebrant brings to the moments prior to ceremony are almost as crucial as the entire ceremony itself ✌🏻

Let’s face it - just before the ceremony is when your nerves are probably at their peak.

Alex was the girl next door in Aaron’s story; like, quite literally. ✨

What began as classic tale of childhood determination, persistence, and a bit of neighbourhood trampoline strategy over the fence became a whirlwind of sneaking out into each other’s houses, right under their parents’ noses, and unexpectedly falling in love. 🥰

And what an honour it was to celebrate with these two into the evening with their gorgeous fam and friends - inclusive of a witness raffle, lottery bouquet toss and, of course, a freaking jumping castle. Because why the heck not?!

You definitely can’t say that Fraya & Tom’s ceremony wasn’t an absolute VIBE 😍

Of all of the places that you expect to meet the love of your life, the parent to child and your ride or die – at a Noddy concert when you’re 4 and 7 isn’t at the top of the list. But this is how it was for Fraya and Tom.

If you would’ve told these two at any point up until their mid 20s that they would fall madly in love, they would’ve laughed you out of the room.

But life has this funny way of working out, and Fraya & Tom did indeed fall for each other; and their wedding celebrations were just as perfect as the two of them combined ❤️

In fact, we only met with one celebrant when we started looking. Our first call with Haylie had us pay a deposit straight away. Haylies down-to-earth nature, professional and easy-going approach similarly calmed us down, and made us excited for the biggest day of our lives. Haylie has an infectious excitement that is just perfect.

We had many comments from friends and family on our ceremony, and how beautiful it was. This is all down to Haylie’s structure, guidance, and professionalism in helping couples tie the knot.

The most gorgeous of pairings who met almost a decade ago amongst the halls of their uni residences and fell in love to the backdrop of The Killers’ Mr Brightside. It started out with a kiss…

Megan was a gorgeous bridesmaid at a wedding I did earlier in the year, so it was SUPER special to be able to marry her to Billy! ✨

And she even made her own dress… how AMAZING is that?! 💃🏻

Sarah and James 🥰

It’s always a bittersweet time at the end of a wedding ceremony as a celebrant. Of course, it’s the pinnacle of what we’ve been planning towards all these months and, well, it’s the whole point of the journey right?

But it’s also the time I give you a big squeeze and usher you into your newly married life; curtains close, production over, audience exit stage left - something these two music & theatre lovers know pretty well.

It always feels like I’m saying bye to newly found friends, and in the case of Sarah and James that was certainly the case.

These loved-up legends are freaking fabulous, and no I will not confirm or deny whether I got emotional saying bye to them, or during their vows for that matter✌🏻

Cheesy AF, but… 🧀

This is wayyyy more than just a job to me.

More than that, it’s being able to see two people come together and celebrate their love, in the most authentic way possible to them. It’s about the planning journey, before the wedding day. It’s seeing friends and family celebrating the heck out of them. And all the beautiful vendors I get to work with and do life with.

Everything about this gig just fills my damn cup and it’s such an honour and a privilege be able to celebrate WITH you on your big day 🫶🏻

These two met in the most unlikely of circumstances… working in the midst of shopping trolleys and stocking aisles at Woolworths. No, not the first place you think of a true love story but for them, the start of forever and a pivotal part of their story 🩵

“Haylie was nothing short of amazing. She took our ideas/requests on board and worked her magic and made our day exactly as we envisioned. She made the ceremony funny and light hearted and kept everyone captivated. She made sure we were always comfortable and available to us throughout the whole process.

She had to step in late for us as our MC and she was amazing, organising it all last minute, making sure to check in on the night and was so great at going with us and the flow!

Haylie we cannot thank you enough, we are so thankful that it was you who was apart of our day!”
