Sarah and James 🥰

It’s always a bittersweet time at the end of a wedding ceremony as a celebrant. Of course, it’s the pinnacle of what we’ve been planning towards all these months and, well, it’s the whole point of the journey right?

But it’s also the time I give you a big squeeze and usher you into your newly married life; curtains close, production over, audience exit stage left - something these two music & theatre lovers know pretty well.

It always feels like I’m saying bye to newly found friends, and in the case of Sarah and James that was certainly the case.

These loved-up legends are freaking fabulous, and no I will not confirm or deny whether I got emotional saying bye to them, or during their vows for that matter✌🏻

Cheesy AF, but… 🧀

This is wayyyy more than just a job to me.

More than that, it’s being able to see two people come together and celebrate their love, in the most authentic way possible to them. It’s about the planning journey, before the wedding day. It’s seeing friends and family celebrating the heck out of them. And all the beautiful vendors I get to work with and do life with.

Everything about this gig just fills my damn cup and it’s such an honour and a privilege be able to celebrate WITH you on your big day 🫶🏻

These two met in the most unlikely of circumstances… working in the midst of shopping trolleys and stocking aisles at Woolworths. No, not the first place you think of a true love story but for them, the start of forever and a pivotal part of their story 🩵

“Haylie was nothing short of amazing. She took our ideas/requests on board and worked her magic and made our day exactly as we envisioned. She made the ceremony funny and light hearted and kept everyone captivated. She made sure we were always comfortable and available to us throughout the whole process.

She had to step in late for us as our MC and she was amazing, organising it all last minute, making sure to check in on the night and was so great at going with us and the flow!

Haylie we cannot thank you enough, we are so thankful that it was you who was apart of our day!”

“Hands down the best celebrant out! Couldn’t ask for a more fun and exciting ceremony to start off our day.

Haylie had non stop communication throughout the whole wedding planning, no question was out of the question and she even helped us find our feet with it all. Her script for our ceremony captured me and my now husbands personalities all through meeting us twice.

She truly made our ceremony us, making our friends and family love it more. Her constant smiles and laughter made the experience all the better, checking in on planning as well as ironing out our vows. However, to top it off after the ceremony she stuck around for some sick photos and were more than happy to help me out in grabbing my comfy shoes hehe.

Haylie if I got married again which I won’t (sorry Scott) , I would choose you in a heartbeat. Can’t wait for our vow renewal in the future.”
