FUN FACT: The very first Underground show was on Boxing Day 2010 at Red Bennies. Called Carnival of Souls, it featured Mama Natalia, Raven, Miss Nic, Foxtrot India and Scarlett.

Upon her debut in the Australian burlesque scene, Penny Drops quickly developed a taste for the darker and sometimes macabre aspects of the art, feeling it reflected the nature of her soul.

Over the years, she has entranced audiences at Red Light Confidential - Melbourne, Maison Burlesque, Burlesque with Attitude, Queens of the Damned and most recently The Menagerie - Burlesque & Variety Show. Other credits include slinking around at Gloriana Burlesque and Psychobilly Queen, and more recently making her debut amongst the Descendants at The Burlesque Underground.

And now, her insatiable appetite for attention has brought her to Wonderground on Saturday 26th June, to embody the queen of the attention seeking psychopaths - one Bethany Black!

PERFORMER ANNOUNCEMENT! The Burlesque Underground - VINCENT PRIZE

Vincent Prize: the vainglorious villain. Since the Fringe Festivals of the 90s, Vincent's taste for the stage grew from ensemble enabler to solo sideshow spook where he has performed in venues from Victoria to Vienna.

After graduating Swinburne’s Theatre program in the year 2000, Vincent began producing magical worlds for audience delectation including The Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade (Aus Edition), The Pool (Melbourne Fringe) and recently The Goblin Ball Masquerade series (‘13-’19). He made his debut with The Burlesque Underground in 2017, as Vale Lavel, and has been a fan favourite since.

And on Saturday 26th June, 2021 - Vincent joins us at Wonderground to bring the character of Jett Balthazar Black to life!
