Coc // Community over Competition 🎉

Last night was the annual wedding industry community party where those from far and wide get together in a mix of quick hellos as we rush to the bar, brief hugs and lots of ‘omg you look fkn amazing in that costume’ conversations!

So this year after many, many ideas becoming the epic rock-loving duo from Wayne’s World (if you haven’t seen it, then what are you even doing?! 🫣) Garth alongside the Baberaham Lincoln as Wayne made absolute sense… we are fans of a good dress up and will always put 💯 into the outfit.. we commit to the characters!

It was fun. It was unhinged. And to top it off my very good pal & DJ was on the decks spinning the tunes that made everyone wake up with sore knees today! It was so good to see all my vendor friends in one place! Hugs to all!

Thank you to the organisers .geelongcelebrant… you three are the real icons!!! I can’t wait to hear the theme and new location for next year!

And a massive love you forever to my cele- friends… I am forever grateful to our little group; the support, encouragement and laughs we all get from one another is indescribable 💖

2. King 👑 he is my beautiful, cheeky, separation anxiety ridden Staffy boy and he is the light of my life. Also the bane of my existence lol

3. My lobster 🦞 he is the most handsome, annoying and routine driven man I have ever met but I would not have it any other way. He is also the light of my life (and less of the bane of my existence lolll kidding)

4. Family 💖 my three beautiful sisters and my wonderful, youthful looking mother! We all live busy lives but always make sure we get together when it’s the most important. I hope to look half as young as my mum when I am her age! Can you pick which one is my mum? Haha

These lovers first crossed paths in year 10. Scott noticed Jess’ beauty but Jess was warned to stay away from the wild and crazy Scott…

They kept crossing paths, however, slowly getting to know one another. Soon, Jess was crushing on Scott, hard… but his eyes wondered elsewhere… so Jess did what any die-hard romantic would do… she began her chase. Literally.

One night when they were hanging out, she made her move. She chased him down the street, launched herself into the air and tackled him straight to the ground on the nature strip of someone’s house before swiftly smacking a kiss on his lips, yelling to the world… “you’re mine!”

This kiss sealed their fate.

With Scott’s lack of handyman skills and Jess’ ability to have full conversations with the dogs as if they will answer her back, these two are a perfect match.

Now they are husband & wife 😍

Weather is obviously the one thing we cannot control... especially living in Melbourne 🤦🏻‍♀️ You can look at the weather app for it to say clear blue skies all day… only to be very very wrong and instead it continuously rains all day… like it did for these beautiful lovers!

When Reanne contacted me she mentioned she wanted to do something different for their wedding… legals in the morning in front of 20 or so of their closest family and friends and then tell their love story at the reception before we welcomed them into the party! And I was there for it!

HIGH SEA OF LURRRVVVEEE //

These sailors were navigating through life on basecamp: their home away from home.

One day, Maddy armed with her typical crackhead energy and a tray of homemade rocky road, asked Rhyce if he wanted a piece to which he politely accepted… They then would cross paths and exchange flirty smiles until Maddy took matters into her own hands and asked Rhyce out for dinner to which he also… politely accepted.

Fast forward to a few months of dating, Rhyce while washing the dishes, asked Maddy to be his girlfriend, to which she politely… declined…

But after exactly four days of contemplation later, she couldn't resist his charm – especially when he was doing housework and agreed to be his girlfriend.

And on Friday surrounded by 50 of their closest friends and family, they got hitched at the beautiful with behind the lens and on the decks.

This epic wedding marked my last big ceremony wedding for 2023 🩷

HALLOWEEN //

In the spirit of All Hallows Eve, I wanted to share a passion of mine 🤪 I love a dress up…. Anything from a lobster costume to Carole Baskin!

But the OG dress up was from a Halloween party my sisters and I held at my family home when my parents were overseas many years ago…

It was a time where Breaking Bad had prime airing time so of course… YEAH MR WHITE… Was the way to go!

We legit had to stain the white painters overalls yellow and wearing that moustache was itchy as all f**k but totally worth it haha

So anytime you want to have a dress up wedding or are open to maybe me rocking up on a surprise outfit… I. AM. DOWN 😂
