It’s time to introduce one of our very own.

Meet Discarnate, the Co-Founder of PLEXUS and the mastermind behind Extortion Sounds Records.

Discarnate’s sonic realm pulsates with an unyielding fusion of aggression and velocity. Within his compositions, blistering percussion collides, while harsh synthetic melodies pierce through, enveloped by an eerie atmosphere that permeates every space. His mixes, relentless and unapologetic, unleash an onslaught of gritty industrial chaos upon the dance floor. 

Emerging as a cornerstone of Australia’s resurging underground scene, Discarnate has shared stages with artists such as Perc, Rebekah, I Hate Models, WNDRLST, Ansome, and an array of others. His discography boasts releases on esteemed labels like 96NOISA, Insane Industry, PURE HATE 000, INTERZEAK and more, amplifying the indomitable force and uncompromising nature of his craft.

Caity is a DJ & upcoming live artist blending speedy techno, hypnotic grooves and hard femme sass. Her sets are heavy, careful, groovy and more-ish, with a touch of silliness or surprise when it calls for it.

Caity is also the founder & director of event series 150 BPM & 150% Live, a radio host for ‘Rave Cave’ on Area3000 and a resident DJ for Beaufort Beats. In 2023, Caity was voted into Music Victoria’s top 5 ‘Best DJ’s and was signed as a Track08 artist.

Grateful for Australia’s thriving scene, Caity has had the honour of playing at Revolver Upstairs, My Aeon, Tempo Club (QLD), Sub Club, New Guernica, Esoteric Festival (Theme Camp), 24 Moons, Brown Alley, Kiss FM, Melbourne Pavilion, 524 Flinders & more.

Caity’s truest form of musical expression lies within the clever repetitions of dark, hypnotic, groovy & speedy techno. With a backbone of consistent hefty kicks, Caity layers twisted & oscillating patterns with strange sounds, hypnotic vocals & added sass, leaving her crowd to wonder how many hours have past – what their names are – and what just happened.

Caity’s love for the raw modular sound has been taken further recently, with her learning synths & drum machines. Live hardware techno sets are soon to be added to her repertoire.

Tonight PLEXUS presents WNDRLST (NL) at 524 Flinders 11-5am.

For our last event of 2023, we are beyond excited for the return of unrelenting hard techno heavyweight WNDRLST (NL), alongside a roster of Australia’s most ferocious techno DJs.

WNDRLST is a Rotterdam-born techno DJ & Producer based in Budapest, Hungary, with a unique hard-hitting style that has unleashed thunderous sounds across every big warehouse space around the world.

With releases on esteemed labels such as NineTimesNine (999999999), Sacred Court, Grounded, and his own label Occult Rhythms, his music has gained continual support from the industry’s finest which has seen him quickly making a name for himself in very little time.

This event is BYO alcohol - no glass allowed. A top tier lighting set up and a monster Funktion One soundsystem provided by Sound Experience to complete what is already looking to be a massive night.
