is our Filipina Australian Diva and a fellow kabarangay since the beginning. She’ll be singing us a festive song to get us in a holiday spirit.

, a new addition to our performer roster. Her name is inspired by the Supermodel Linda Evangelista and Beyoncé alter ego which is Sasha Fierce. She is fun, fierce and sometimes funny but mostly love to perform in front of everyone.

Just one more night and we’ll get to have a Christmas event like no other.

Kusinero, derived from the Tagalog word for 'cook,' marked its debut on November 6th, a Monday, in a delightful collaboration between Mama Sita's Recipes, CEREE, and Chef Morris Danzen Catanghal.

This inaugural event celebrated the fusion of Filipino culinary artistry with Chef Danzen's Italian background, skillfully highlighting the essence of Mamasita's BBQ marinade and premium products. The menu boasted a harmonious blend of Filipino and Italian flavors, elevating traditional dishes with innovative twists.

To complement the gastronomic experience, we crafted a selection of exquisite non-alcoholic cocktails, christened Manila, Cebu, and Davao, inspired by our original creations Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. These beverages served as a flavorful ode to the diverse regions of the Philippines.

Meet our Featured Kusinero !

He’s serving up a 6 course degustation using BBQ Marinade and Products

Growing up cooking for his humble family from Calumpit, Bulacan to an award-winning chef in Italy, Chef Morris Danzen was the Former Chef/ part owner of La Bottega Fusion Cuisine in Sicily. He creates dishes combining hints of Southern Italian and Filipino flavours and techniques inspired from his travels and memories. He reinvents new ways of cooking and serving Filipino food overseas specially in Italy. His passion and creativity in cooking serves as his fuel to continue reaching his goal of elevating and promoting Filipino cuisine globally.

Katrina is a PR, Marketing and Social Media Specialist who is passionate about empowering independent business owners to carry out impactful and memorable campaigns.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Katrina knows all too well of the sacred bond of sharing a hearty home-made meal with your loved ones. Her fondest memories with her family always revolved around food so working with Barangay is a no-brainer.

Katrina’s creative talents also extend to her photography. In 2020, Katrina launched her freelance photography business, where she photographed Barangay’s first Buwan Ng Wika event.

She has since worked closely with Chef Fhred in photography, PR and marketing strategy to continue executing the annual Buwan Ng Wika celebration in Melbourne.

Katrina’s goal is to continue collaborating with Filipino-Australian entrepreneurs in cultivating global recognition for her proud Filipino heritage.

“There’s a strong collective support within the Filipino-Australian entrepreneurial and creative space that gives me so much hope. I honestly believe our generation will continue to change the narrative and trample our home country’s toxic crab mentality. This is the generation that will uplift one another, instead of tear each other down.”

Meet , another dedicated registered nurse who brings her vibrant energy to the bustling Barangay crew. Beyond her full-time nursing role, Gay effortlessly embodies the essence of a "cool" mom, channeling her inner enthusiasm as a videoke sensation and a spirited TikTok dancer – a true entertainer at heart! 😂✨

But that's not all – Gay's versatility shines as she gracefully transitions into the world of part-time modeling. With elegance and poise, she graces photoshoots and struts down the runway, becoming a captivating ambassador for local small businesses.

Gay's journey with Barangay commenced last year, and she quickly became a cornerstone, lending her modeling talents to the team. Beyond her photogenic prowess, she plays a pivotal role in expanding Barangay's horizons. Through her impeccable networking skills, she handpicks the perfect individuals to join the crew, while also lending her expertise to the fashion production aspects. Gay is a true dynamo, infusing flair and charisma into every facet of her life at Barangay.

Meticulously created from grapes harvested in a single vineyard nestled amidst the rolling Gruyere hills at the base of the Yarra Ranges. Grown exclusively in the 'Martingale Estate,' a north-facing rocky vineyard encompassing 40 exquisite acres within Australia's renowned Yarra Valley wine region.
