Here’s how I manage cooking for large groups:
1. A good team-I don’t do it alone! Biswa and my kitchen ‘emergency contacts’ help me, especially for big events like Durga Pujo.
2. Planning and ex*****on- For me, planning ahead and teamwork are key. A clear to-do list and accurate measurements are essential for a smooth cooking experience.
3. My top kitchen essentials for large cooking: A sharp knife and a weighing machine! I want to take this opportunity to give a big shout-out to B**g Eats for inspiring us to use a weight machine in our kitchen! Thanks Saptarshi, Insiya!
Lastly, I want to say: no matter how much planning we do, there are days that are challenging, and there are days I feel lost! On those days, I see some of my favourite creators and business pages to stay motivated!

Business updates- This compiled video is an attempt to explain our work to all the members or viewers.
Recently, we met some beautiful people who used to watch our YouTube videos and now often order from our weekend special menu! They were curious to know why we had stopped offering our weekend special menu. Because this is our family-run business, we do everything byourselves, so we take small orders only on weekends! Due to some private catering bookings, we couldn’t offer any weekend special menu for the last couple of months! But we have decided that, from this month onwards, we will offer our weekend special menu at least once a month! Our February special weekend menu is coming soon!

We believe food can turn moments into memories. Good or bad, that is questionable. Today we created a delicious memory at Kahaani!

Kahaani means story: the story of their journey, the thoughts behind this venture, how they source special ingredients, and the dishes they learned from their original place. The gentleman who served us shared all these stories. We were so busy talking to him and savouring the delicacies, we forgot to ask his name!

We are not food reviewers; we enjoy good food and love sharing it with our friends and the foodie community. Kaahani is not a budget-friendly Indian restaurant. But if you want to enjoy real Indian flavour and hospitality in Melbourne, you must visit this place at least once. We will visit again to try other dishes too!

Last night, I realised we are fortunate to spend the last day of 2025 with our friends and family here in Melbourne, and we are lucky to have another chance to start a new year! Those moments and the incidents will be memorable for us, for sure!
We all captured and shared moments on our mobile phones and in our hearts. ( which we can’t forget ever)
