We are very proud of our member Brendon Smith winning a Bronze swimming medal at Tokyo Olympics 400 IM.

Brendon Smith from Half Moon Bay SLSC is finals bound at the in the 400-metre individual medley.

Brendon won his heat, broke his own Australian record, swam a PB and the fastest qualifying time - 4:09.27

Catch him in the final tomorrow at 11.30am AEST.

Due to COVID. The club kitchen is not opening at this stage this year . However. I am looking for any one in the club that has a “ food safety certificate”. I need to nominate a person for our renewal even though we are not open. Rather than applying from scratch next year.
Can any one help me.

I’m sorry to inform our club community that Kelly Van der water lost her fight today with jack the dancer. She will be remembered at our club as an outstanding contributor(ex half moon president) , great competitor, and wonderful mum and person. Our thoughts go out to her beautiful daughters Steph and Em, sis Katie and entire clan of vans.

On behalf of all Half Moon Bay SLSC members we express our sincere condolences to members and supporters of the Port Campbell Surf Lifesaving Club who have lost two members today attempting to save the life of a tourist washed off rocks.

A third member is in Alfred hospital in a serious but stable condition, and we wish them a speedy recovery.

Mooners will be closed for the long weekend as our bar staff are off to compete for Half Moon Bay in the Surf Life Saving State Championships in Warrnambool.

We will be open on Friday 15th March from 6pm!
