Aside from marrying a wonderful person, (that’s important!) what I remember the most was how much fun it was and how special it felt to have our closest family and friends with us to celebrate such an important milestone in our relationship. Getting married doesn’t have to be stressful. You want to look back and think about how wonderful the day was and how your ceremony was a reflection of you as

a couple (and not what some Auntie said it should be). I understand why your wedding has to be the way you want it to be. I have worked in events for years and years. Trust me, I understand. I have also worked in communication roles too, so I know how to write an awesome ceremony! Everyone always looks forward to the wedding reception. It’s generally the highlight of most wedding days. I like to think of the ceremony as a major highlight too. This is where I come in. A great ceremony reflects who the couple is and needs to have some personal flavor. I really like to get to know a couple. It’s important. It helps me to tailor a ceremony to every couple I marry. Are you nervous about the ceremony? Don’t be. I will work with you every step of the way to create a magical moment for you both. Come on, let’s do this.

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Jansen! ❤️

Emily and Zach’s love story began back in November 2020 as we were all finding our freedom again as we emerged from lockdown life.

They were married on November 18, 2023, in the gorgeous gardens of the Pine Grove Hotel in front of their most special people.

A fab combination of laughs, big love vibes and emotions.This one was special. 🤗

It's been awhile since I said hey!

SO, hey 👋 Nice to meet you 😁

I've been marrying people for almost 10 years. I have definitely seen a lot during those years let me tell you. I feel very blessed to have had only positive experiences along the way. I am yet to work with a couple I have regretted. No horror stories here. Phew!

What is my main takeaway? Well, this. Your wedding day is exactly that. YOURS. This is your day to do what you want to, not anyone else. Aside from the legal bits (that are minimal) you have freedom to create the vibe YOU want.

You might be wall flowers and cringe at the thought of speaking in front of people. Don't worry I got you. Or you could be the opposite, I also got you.

The best ceremonies set up the rest of your evening and flow seamlessly into the ultimate wedding party keeping that smile on your face until you pass out from exhaustion and too much fun!

When I am not marrying sweet peeps you will find me riding my bike, chilling with my family and friends, drinking wine and eating cheese and balancing it out with HIIT workouts. 🥵🥵

Just make sure you have a delegated doggie handler for the day so your not left picking up the 💩😁

I like to stand to the side ...and let you have your moments.

Once the wedding is over and you get your pics back, you will be glad that you don't have my mug in the middle of them all. 😂

In 20 years time you don't want some random person (moi!) in every killer shot. So, I always stand to the side until I absolutely need to be in the middle. Of course if you want me there breathing down your neck... I'll be there. 🤭

In all seriousness, I will be there if you want or if you're feeling wobbly on the day. But, I will make myself scarce as soon as I can so you can enjoy the pics of the two of you and not the 'three of us' for all of your days. ❤️❤️

I am in love with the pics from this gorgeous wedding. Jana and Michael were married in front of their nearest and dearest with their two cutie pies. I love their story.

It was a fan girl meets her rocker moment. After playing the midnight set with his band ‘Money for Rope’ at a music festival in Gippsland, Michael was hanging about and Jana noticed him as she started to make her way back to her campsite. That night he had really caught her eye as he did his thing on stage with his mad bass skillz in his sweaty t-shirt and loose locks. Jana kind of bounced by with a big smile on her face finding an excuse to introduce herself trumping any other girl there that night Michael might have been eyeing off. They were both feeling a bit unsteady on their feet but chatted for a bit before going their separate ways.

The next day they crossed paths again at the stage. Jana heard him saying that he was going to go and grab a coffee, so she hot footed it off to the coffee cart before him so they could ‘bump into’ each other. Jana waited and waited and was just about to give up when she spotted him with his band mates. It was a little awks, they recalled the previous night’s conversation but couldn’t remember each other’s names. He remembered her as Oana and she remembered him as Max. He invited her to sit with them, so they chatted and flirted a bit more and AGAIN went their separate ways but not before she handed him her paper cup with ‘Jana’ written on it.

As soon as Michael got home from the festival, he was straight online to Facebook stalk her. And that’s how it’s done folks! 🙌

Helloooo! 🙌

Well, it sure has been a hot minute.
I was recently lucky to have the opportunity to attend a schmoozing celebrant evening at Zee - Celebrant, Caker + MC] very cool work space, hosted by Marriage + Elopement Celebrant] and The Celebrant Society] for some well overdue chin wags with some other fab peeps. While there, I got myself snapped in front of this fabulous Bangin Hangins] masterpiece by the lovely Janet from wedding | birth | family photo] .

Anyone that knows me knows how much I love getting my picture taken. 😩Ewww! But Janet was a wiz and made me feel very comfortable.

I thought I would take a minute to share a little about moi. Here are 10 facts that have nothing to do with weddings.😝

1. I am a coffee snob, and I am OK with that

2. I am one of 4 and apparently the first kid to swear properly. Ooops! Sorry mum..

3. I prefer wine to spirits. I think I might also be a wine snob and I am also OK with that. Life is too short to drink s**t wine

4. I have been with my husband for 20 years and married for 10!

5. I have two girls. 3 and 7. They are a bit wild and headstrong but very sweet too. 👯

6. I lived in London for 5 years and have done a fair whack of traveling

7. My passport has expired wah! I need to sort that out!

8. I love to indulge and go to the movies at the Sun Theatre in Yarraville on my own. Love that cinema! 🍿🍷

9. I gifted myself an awesome bike during lockdowns. One of the best things I have ever bought for myself. You might find me riding down to the pub with a friend after we have thrown our kids into bed.🤣 Of course I use it for exercise too!

10. My Uni degree is actually in Dance Performance and back in my heyday I abseiled headfirst down many a building as part of a performance.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate these gorgeous pics. 😍

This love story began while on holiday in Copenhagen with a good old swipety swipe.

It was Mel’s first time dabbling with online dating. And her last! 😝 Her friend convinced her the key to meeting her dream boat Danish man was by joining the app. She was on holidays, she was footloose and fancy free, so she had nothing to lose right!

You could say Mel was 'surprised' when she realised that her dream boat Danish date was in fact a full-blown Aussie. It was the G’day that gave it away.. After letting go of her non-negotiable, ‘he must be Danish’, Mel realised that this man was an incredibly kind, sincere, cheerful, easy-going Aussie who loved an adventure. Proven right then by the fact that he showed up to this first date in the same clothes he had been travelling in from a gorilla trek in Uganda. The airline lost his luggage apparently..

Mel knew right then and there that this was a man she wanted to continue to get to know. ❤️❤️❤️

This was a fun one for me. Monica and Michael were super easy going, very relaxed but are also both very witty.

This love story began with a good ole ‘swipe to the right’ .

These two bike riding enthusiasts bonded straight away over their mutual cynicisms about corporate work life and their similar interests in traveling, movies, and music. But, it was when Michael said that his favourite band was also ‘Beach House’, at that moment Monica knew he was someone pretty special.

Monica, is a bit of a joker, and can tell a joke with a deadly serious face making Michael squirm a little while he tries to figure out if she is serious or not...

The week before their first date Monica sent him a text saying, “Where are you?” Pretending the date was for that night... Poor Michael was just at home innocently making himself a stir-fry. 🤣
