Here's top 3 mistakes you'd want to avoid at your next party!
1. DIY decor/not hiring a professional: I can't stress how much time and effort goes into planning, sourcing high-quality materials, blowing up balloons, creating floral arrangements, and creating personalized decals. Not to mention the time it takes to design and create the setup, travel to and from the venue, set up, and pack up. Wouldn't this time be better spent doing the things you love and leave the stressing to us? By involving a professional, you can rest assured that not only will we work tirelessly to bring your vision to life, but you can also show up to your party all dressed and smelling great (you won't need to break a sweat as we handle the whole setup!).
2. Being your own photographer: If hiring a professional isn't in the budget, allocate one or two attendees with the honor of being the token photographer for the day and ask them to take specific shots WITH YOU IN THEM! I can't stress how often this happens, even to me. In the mad rush of planning and executing a function, it's only after I get home that I realize I'm barely in any photos! Avoid this from happening and make it someone else's responsibility to pull you up through the event and snap a few quick shots and send them to you. With cameras on phones being so amazing, you'll be thanking yourself for doing this later. Plus, you'll want to have hundreds of photos captured with all that amazing decor you'd be having.
3. Not organising enough food: I'm of the believe food doesn't need to look pretty, but it does need to be plentiful. Nobody is going to say- "OMG look at my giant delicious place of food, don't I wish it looked aesthetically pleasing!" Plan out the menu well in advance and always cater for more than you think you'll need because leftovers are the best for when you're recovering from sore feet the next few days from all the dancing and partying you'll be doing. Plus, all your guests will thank you for it! One thing
