INCIDENT - M80 Ring Road Greensborough-bound re-opened

UPDATE 2am Wednesday

All Greensborough-bound lanes of the M80 Ring Road were re-opened between Dalton Road and Plenty Road at around 1.40am, following serious collision.

Thanks for your patience as emergency services conducted investigations.

All Greensborough-bound lanes of the M80 Ring Road are closed between Dalton Road and Plenty Road, due to serious collision involving a pedestrian.

Those driving towards Greensborough will need to exit the M80 at Dalton Road and take Settlement Road before re-turning to the freeway at Plenty Road.

Exiting earlier at Edgars Road and taking Mahoneys Road is also a good option.

Altona-bound lanes of the M80 Ring Road remain open.

This closure is under the control of Victoria Police and the road will re-open only when investigations are complete and it’s safe to do so.
