A Walk Down Memory Lane… and Into the Future!

Our Debutante Wildflower Collection has a very special place in my heart, starting with the gorgeous Ebony Dress. This collection of dresses were captured at my childhood farm in Toomuc Valley—a place full of memories for me. Does anyone know where it is? (It’s as gorgeous as it looks!)🌼🌳

Debutante dresses are where it all began for me. Back in 2002, my neighbor asked me to modify her dress to make it more “her.” I never imagined that moment would spark the journey to creating my own designs. A small favour to a thriving dream.💓🌅

The Ebony dress is a tribute to that start, blending elegance with a touch of wild magic. Stay tuned as we share more from this collection—and our bridal campaign—over the next month!

Tomorrow is our last day open for the year, the 21st of December. We are celebrating Christmas and the new year with a little break and will be returning on Saturday 4th of January. What a night!
Our Leah S Designs Christmas party got a little wild this year, and after a few too many drinks, it brought back so many wonderful memories of how far we’ve come. It was a perfect evening to reflect on an incredible year and the amazing people who make it all possible.

To my beautiful brides who chose Leah S Designs to share in their special day this year—thank you. It’s been such a privilege to be part of your stories. Each fitting, every excited smile, and all the tears will stay with me forever. We can’t wait to see what next year brings!

To my incredible team—Lyn, Georgina, Julie, Amy, Katherine, Melissa, Jennie—and everyone else who keeps this dream alive, thank you. From the fitting room magic to the behind-the-scenes hustle and bustle. I’m so grateful for each one of you. Let’s not forget the DHL delivery guy—you may grumble, but you always deliver.

I’m pretty sure we all ate enough to last us until next year! Yes, today is definitely about food comas and hangovers (well, at least for me!).

We will be having our Christmas break from the 21st of December to the 4th of January.
