HOW TO BOOK AND GENERAL INFO WHEN BOOKING

To make a booking contact us directly by messaging us via Facebook or Instagram these are most responsive. Alternatively email us at [email protected]

When making a booking please state
>Mobile number
>Date and location of event
>Full description of what equipment you want to hire if for item

> for parties or events the selected package or detailed description of what you are after

FOR ITEM HIRE -

when making a booking for an item you would like to hire please state what item along with the date you will need it for/ location. Pick up option is also available and a small amount will be deducted from total hire item cost if you are picking up and returning to us yourself. Additional single travel fee and labor fees apply depending on location. A minimum $100 is required of hire bookings for items or set ups on locations further than 30km

A deposit will be required on booking in for hire via pay id or bank transaction/ transfer. The deposit is refunded when our item is returned if it is in the same condition. The deposit will be be non refundable if any type of damage occurs to our itemsā€¦(see our damage t&cā€™ā€™s for further info) if you do not notify us of a cancellation within 24 hours of the booking date 50% fee will be deducted from the total deposit amount. Once details are discussed before securing the hire you will have to read, sign and complete our party rental contract. Please have a copy of hires drivers licence ready for us to keep on file.

FOR AN EVENT-

When booking for an event or set up please send us the date in mind, what type of event or set up you are interested in and location of the event. Additional travel fees and labor will apply depending on location. Upon making a booking a deposit of $130 for standard bookings is necessary, amount may vary for larger bookings/ details partyā€™s. Deposit is to be paid via pay id or bank transaction when you want to make a booking. It is only when the deposit is paid that your booking date will be secured. The deposit amount will be taken off the total booking cost and you will need to pay the remaining in cash on the day. Keep in mind If there are extra purchases being made for specific requests payment for that will be required weeks before event date. Deposits are NON refundable under any circumstances or reason of cancellation.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS/ IMPORTANT INFOā€¼ļøā€¼ļø

(((The supplier shall be referred to as ā€˜memories forever event hire, MF, owner, renter or supplier ))

((The hirer entering into contract will be referred to as the ā€˜hirerā€™ ))

***The hirer enters into a contract and agrees and accepts the terms and conditions from the date they make a booking and have paid a deposit with the supplier.

DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT-
The hirer accepts full responsibility for the equipment once they take possession. This is from the time it is delivered or picked up, to the time it is collected or dropped off. The hirer is responsible for any loss/ damage including scratches, stains, dint's or rips/ cuts or drop damage. Anything that has caused any type of damage to the equipment for any reason while in the care of the hirer. If damage occurs a full market value replacement cost will be needed to replace the items. If a part of the equipment is damaged or lost the hirer is responsible for the full replacement of items. All materials and equipment are to be returned to the owner in its original condition (we take before photos of items prior to renting out) in our party hire contract you can request we write the retail amount of each item listed and this is the cost that will be repaid if equipment is damaged. No refunds are given in the event that weather damages any equipment or that is vandalised.

INJURY-
Once the owner has given or dropped off the rented items to the hirer the hirer shall be liable for any loss, damage or injury if any sustained by any person whatsoever by reason of the negligence of that person(s) to whom our contract is issued. Memories forever event hire is not responsible and will not be held accountable for any accidents or any type of injury caused by our equipment while in the hands of the hirer. By renting the hirer agrees to this statement and understands they cannot hold us accountable. The hirer assumes proper knowledge in the operation and handling of the equipment and follows OH&S policies and does not hold supplier responsible for any injury caused to themselves or others whilst moving or setting up any equipment ect

CANCELLATION POLICY/ DEPOSITS-
In case of a cancellation by the hirer, deposits are non refundable or transferable and it cannot be exchanged to be used for a credit for another time.. All date changes are to be requested to the owner 2 weeks prior to the original hire or event date. Approval of date changes will be subject to the owner's availability. Bookings or hire requests should be made a month in advance, as you will not be guaranteed to the request date. With a deposit payable the hirer may cancel their booking or order however will forfeit 50% from all booking deposits up to 48 hours. Cancellation within 48 hours full deposit is non refundable. For item hire- A deposit will be required via pay id or bank transaction/ transfer. The deposit is returned if and when the items are returned in the same condition they were given to the hirer in. The entire deposit will be non refundable if any type of damage at all occurs to our items and you will be required to repay the total market value cost for the item that has been damaged once the deposit amount is deducted from retail cost. For an event- Upon making a booking a $100 fee for standard bookings is necessary, amount may vary for larger bookings. Deposit is to be paid via pay id, bank transaction or transfer. It is only when the deposit is paid that the booking date you need if available will be secured. The deposit amount will be taken off the total booking cost and you will need to pay the remaining in cash on the day. Keep in mind if there are any extra purchases being made for specific requests eg a certain theme or colour payments for this will be requested and required weeks in advance. Deposits for an event are NON refundable under any circumstances or reason of cancellation.
(you are responsible for our set up and props once we leave the premises. If anything is damaged in hirers care they are fully responsible refer to damage above for further info)

BEFORE DATE CAN BE SECURED-
Hire booking is confirmed upon receipt of the hire deposit. We are under no obligation to proceed with the hire or event set up if the deposit or full payment has not been received. Like any rental company, we require a physical or digital copy of identification for our saftey and security. Photo ID is to be shown when booking. Eg a copy of hirers drivers licence or some form of ID documentation. All documentation must be in the same name and match the person signing for hire. Then our transfer details are given for you to make the transfer. You can email this back to us. This is strictly confidential and only used for our safety and security purposes, we do not share your information with anyone or any other businesses.

ITEM RETURN DATES-
The decided return date in our contract is the date an item is expected to be picked up or dropped back off to us visa versa. Unless changed by us or negotiated differently by us and the hirer in writing. Failure to return or enable us to pick up on the given date an extra $20 fee for every missed day will be calculated/ owed/ taken. If the hirer fails to return the equipment, the hirer gives us permission to enter the premises of where the equipment is held to collect the equipment without being responsible for any damages caused to enter the premises. Sometimes Sunday pick up via us may not be until after 4.30pm due to working a second job, as a hirer of our equipment you are to be understanding of this when booking through us.

PRIVACY/SOCIAL MEDIA POSTING
Memories forever event hire reserves the right to post public images of setups and events on all social media platforms. Images and videos given to the owner by the hirer gives us permission subject to your privacy. You grant us permission to use your images and videos for marketing purposes. Should you wish to not be part of any images advertised, it is your responsibility to let us know on the day of the event when photographs are being taken or request in writing if you do not want photographs being advertised.

RESCHEDULE BY US-
Memories forever event hire reserves the right to reschedule a booking if it is a safety risk to deliver or set up equipment. If extreme weather conditions such as torrential rains, hail, strong winds, flooding, extreme thunderstorms, earthquake. Should we not be able to deliver at a later time on the event day we will happily deliver on the next available day. Should the event have to be cancelled for one of these reasons and your event canā€™t be rescheduled to another time, a credit of 50% of the original booking can be applied for a future booking.

WHEN WE DROP OFF
The hirer is responsible for having someone available to take delivery of the equipment at the nominated date and time. If you are getting a set up done for an event it is your responsibility to ensure yourself or someone is at the location of set up at the decided time. We will not be responsible for running late if someone is not at the location at the discussed time. We should give you an aprox set up time for you to be able to plan the day. Late fee may apply if we have to wait for someone to be present after a given time.

Responsibility's OF HIRER
The hirer must inspect and check all equipment and notify the supplier at the time of delivery if there is anything missing, damaged or unfit for use. Failure to do so will see the hirer responsible for any damages or missing equipment upon pick up or drop off. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure the measurements of the equipment supplied by the owner is appropriate for the event space including room measurements, if upon delivery or on the day the hired equipment or set up does not fit, the owner has the right to refuse delivery with no refund and wonā€™t be held accountable for not fitting.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS GENERAL-
All prices are single priced or priced based on packages. Delivery fees will be charged separately as delivery fees for distances further than 25km will apply. Unless stated by the owner. Delivery fees may also be different depending on location. If the hirer prefer to pick up or meet locally this can be arranged for smaller things/ if not requiring me to do a set up.

OTHER SERVICES
Memories forever event hire has partnered with many other services making it convenient for you. However we are not accountable for bookings/ products or service from our other services available. Pricing for these services have nothing to do with memories forever event hire. Memories forever event hire will not be accountable if other services cancel a booking or if they are unavailable on wanted dates.

OTHER
We may replace any item with a similar item if the original product may be booked or unavailable. The laws of vic shall govern this agreement. Venue for any legal proceedings brought in connection with this contract shall be in vic. The terms and conditions can only be amended by the supplier. Any changes to the contract must be written and signed by the hirer and supplier.

ALLERGIES/ FOOD
Some of our packages offer add ons that customers can select on choice. For any package that includes food for example our breakfast bar with cereal we will not be responsible for allergies. It is the hirers and person(s) booking this packages responsibility to manage allergies/ food requirements. Example if a child at a party is to eat a cereal they cannot have we are not responsible for this under any circumstances if fail to notify us of this. it is party host or hirer complete responsibility.

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
Upon making a booking with us you are to read, sign and enter the correct details we ask for on our party hire contract. By signing our contract you are confirming that you have read and agreed to all our terms and conditions/ important information. You are also accountable if any false information is provided in our contract document. You will also need to provide us with a photocopy or picture of driver's licence details when making a booking and this will be used for security and kept on file for past bookings with us.

TRAVEL FEES
The exact cost for travel fees will be determined once location is given. Time is also taken into account, for full set ups or hire of item that involves more labor fees will differ. For hire or set ups that are located further than 30km a minimum booking cost of $100 applies. we do not/ will not travel for event set ups or hire for bookings less than $100 after 30km. (To clarify if you want to hire an item that is priced at $75 for a location outside of 30km you are $25 under the minimum $100 for further distances and this is excluding our single travel and labor fee)
