RIP
Sarah Till 17.07.1971. - 24.12.2023
I haven't known what to say, now I'm back from holidays the full weight of your loss is sinking in, the Floristry community will not be the same without you.
I first met Sarah about 9 years ago when I went to work as a subbie, Sarah was quick to take me under her wing and to show me the ropes. When my business was rapidly growing she jumped on board often working beside me on wedding jobs. In the beginning we were working out of my carport, dancing around to rude 90's tunes and laughing all the time. She was welcomed into my home and quickly formed relationships with my entire family, my kids and husband adore her. We'd finish the day with a wine and a D and M around my kitchen bench whilst we discussed the world's problems.
I moved into the shed in 2019 and with that move came my friend Suze, we all got along famously and those long days in Mount Dandenong were so much fun and created such great memories. Suze made every excuse to pop out and say hi, always bringing us refreshments and snacks, she'd stay for a yarn while SEZ and I continued to play with flowers.
Sez always told me what a relief it was when she drove up the mountain, that she loved working with me and days in the shed gave her peace. These are the memories I will hold onto, sharing our stories, workshopping life's difficulties, so much laughing, her smiley face and her cheeky sense of humour.
I love you very much Sarah, and I'm so sorry you are a gone. I don't quite believe it yet. I am very grateful to have had you in my life for the time that I did ❤️
